chord
My wife just got me the crusader citadel carrying case from GW. A great gift, but how do I put the Prosectors, Celestant prime, LcOD in there without all the little pointy parts getting trashed? Any tips? Taketheskull
Carry them in a box lid in your other hand. i managed to squeeze a Maggoth Lord in one of the bottom trays, but Glottkin and the Plague Drones travel in the box lid.
Turragor
I can fit a stardrake, 2 concussors, LCoD, 5 liberators, 10 judicators and a squad or two paladins in one case. You need to cut out foam and not use some inserts and (with stardrake for instance) take a whole half of the case as two deep trays with hollow sides facing each other and then supported by the cut out foam. It isn't perfect and I'd like a more custom solution but oh well!
chord
Well I stood them up vertically and took out one of the sections and it seems to work. Overall I like the stormcast but the wing design (while looking nice) is horrible for transport.
Screwface
Yes, you have to remove one of the trays and dedicate an entire quarter-case section to them. They're a model that takes up an unbelievably disproportionate amount of space in carry cases.
Iain
I face the Prosecutors down with their wings resting on the top of the foam waves. That foam is Very forgiving - I've stuffed loads of things in their and the only things that have come apart are a couple of parts I hadn't glued properly - no plastic snapping so far

The latest storage and transport solution, get someone to carry stormcast for you.
Immersturm
I suppose the best way would be to not attach the wings and magnetize them instead. In your case that might not be an option, unless you want to do some post-production work.
