However, the excelsior war priest comes with an. Gryph hound that is a fair bit smaller and only on a 25mm base. Are both of these valid to use or is there a convention set for this? Spavioli Posted December 31, 2016 Share Posted December 31, 2016 I think that this is a hard topic with 2 models for this troop at different sized IMO I'd put mine on the larger bases as the are listed under the SCE, came out first and the smaller model with the smaller base was from the silver tower, and also the base that the excelsior comes with comes with a larger base in the blister. Ravenwing Posted January 2, 2017 Share Posted January 2, 2017 I just went through the stash to find my gryph hounds. Seeing them again I actually think a 32mm base fits quite well for both of them.
