A pestilens project

Hi

To start in AOS, i choose Skavens, because i had always be interested by the concept of this army, and of course, my first purchase has been the Pestilens Star collecting.

So, i began by built the Plagueclaw who is in WIP now (only the hood is started).

And i began to do a base for it, but i hang on it. I think it misses something on, like snow or grass.

Had you advices ?

Looks good, if you wanted to improve it i would suggest adding some texture with coarse sand , texture paints or green stuff so that it doesn't feel as flat. 

You could also add some gloss effects to indicate wet churned up earth where the weapon has been moved around?

Yep, the base isn't finish. The marks of the wheels will come at the end. i think doing mud, grass around warpstone.

But i think also it's missing a lighter color. No ?

You could try a puddle or two of sludge. Create a puddle, then do several layers of nurgle's rot. Add some grass at teh edge, maybe a skeleton reaching out
