Ratatatata
Came around to taking some pictures of my Sylvaneth, which I thought I'd share hoping for some (friendly) advice and criticism, i.e. what can be done better etc. Photos taken with a half-broken iPhone- camera and I've no idea how to edit pictures My wife hates the scythes and think they look "absurd" Any advice on another color for them? Vasshpit
Great job on everything! Bark, bases, weapons all look very organic. In my opinion, Sylvaneth look best with a minimal pallette paint scheme. Mind sharing your paint recipe with us? I recently saw some Sylvaneth that the models were flocked, as well as the bases, and now I just can't see them any other way other than maybe a winter theme. So I guess that's my only critique. Some foliage would look great on them.
Ollie Grimwood
I like em. I disagree with your good lady I like the scythes they remind me of the conjured weapons in Skyrim. I think it's rather fitting for Sylvaneth to have weapons that look unconventional and not metallic.
Ademo
Have to agree - the scythes look amazing! The idea of treefolk using metal doesnt seem right to me so spirit weapons are far better in my opinion!Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Dracothjay
I love the scythes mate! Your wife knows nothing, john snow. Is that watered down gullimans blue with white highlights to finish? Im doing something similar but my 'glow/ethereal' colour is going to be purple.
