About Us

HATE meet every Wednesday from 6pm til 11pm at the Bethnal Green Working Mens Club

42-44 Pollard Row, London E2 6NB

We pride ourselves on being a laid back and accepting group but we do have a few rules:

  1. Don't be a ******!
  2. Whatever terrain you use, please look after it. And return it to the box it came from at the end of your game.
  3. If you're able to, put your gaming board, mat and terrain box back before you leave.

Costs: Tabletop Games £5. Boardgames and Roleplaying £2. Your first visit is free

Amenities: As it's a working mens club, the bar is open all night for us and the prices are proper reasonable. But given the combination of the atmosphere, the easy access to alcohol and the popularity of Blood Bowl please be advised that we are a noisy club!

Hi - Possibly stupid question, So I work over near Farringdon - if its 6pm -11pm what's the best idea if I want to try to get involved? If I just turn up by myself one week - do I just walk up to the nearest aos table and say hi? or should I turn up with some dice a vanguard army and a bloodbowl team and hope to get a game of something in?

What time do games normally kick off?

Thanks for any advice!

Simon

Hi Simon,

The best way to get involved is joining both of the facebook groups below.

The top one is the general group. You can see news and other relevant bits about the club.

The link below is the AoS group at HATE.

Not sure if there is a blood bowl group but there are plenty of guys playing at the moment. I know some of  us AoS'ers will be getting heavily into blood bowl after SCGT.

Hope that helps,

Thanks,

Dan.
