Dreadlord on Black Dragon - Paired Exile Blades

On the warscroll there is an attack profile for a single exile blade and an ability for a pair of exile blades. When you take a pair of exile blades do you attack with that single exile blade twice in addition to the ability or is it just one exile blade and the ability?

You will have the Profile once + the ability.

This is also states this way in the corerules,  Page 6 "Attacking", "Attacks characteristic" paragraph 3.

Some models are armed with two identical weapons. When attacking with these weapons, do not double the number of attacks that the weapons make; either the Attacks characteristic for the weapon will already take the extra weapon into account, or the model will get an ability on its warscroll that represents the effect of the additional weapon.

As a cities player of Dark Elves. EMMachine is correct. The dual blades gives the rerolls only no additional attacks. Generally you take the lance and shield for devastating charges and a tougher monster.
