Kyriakin
For my planned ice lake bases, it would make life much easier if they could hold water effects in place without making temporary walls of masking tape or blu-tac that invariably leave behind a slightly rough and tacky-looking outer edge. Obviously, companies such as Secret Weapon do such bases, but they tend to be quite expensive and many sizes - especially ovals - are not covered within their range. What options do I have here? Well ever thought of mixing some bases from different companies in a unit. you still could paint them so what similar, but why not have some models standing on ice and the other like on ground, with some snow. Retro
Have you looked into PVC pipes or something like that? You might be able to custom make your own by cutting it into discs and filling them up. I'm sure there are transparent ones around too if that's what you're after
