Charlo
Picked up two Hellcannons a while ago because the models are bloody amazing. They have a profile and points in the Compendium you can download - does that mean they're legal for matched play? Or is it just a matter of time until they're removed? Much like some of the Dark Elf units a few weeks ago with the LEGENDS compendium not having points
Overread
I think it is safe to assume that GW are steadily moving Sigmar and 40K to a point where unless the model is currently produced by them; the model won't have rules and thus can't be used. They are softening the blow by doing it slowly over time rather tahn all in one go and in some ways are replacing things with either counts as or similar role units. There is also every chance that the model will return to be used again in the future when they release a new sculpt. If you love the model they are worth owning; they are legal from the compendium (tournaments might or might not rule on this) and I'd keep a locl copy of the rules for friendly games even if GW takes the forum one down. Cambot1231
I think they are awesome too though they seem to be on the decline, who knows we might see a re-release with darkoath of the hellcannon?
kenshin620
Well worse comes to worse, could be a stand in for some chaos dwarf artillery. Though obviously not exactly the same, the current chaos dwarf artillery aren't man eating daemons.
