I already had a big pile of Savage Orcs that I built for 8th Ed. but enver got around to painting. And lucky me, because it was easy to snap the left hand choppas off and put on shields, so that they can be Battleline Savage Orruks rather than non-typed Morboys. So the roster of what I have is this: 20 Savage Orruks 10 Savage Orruk Morboys (old metal Savage Orcs with two choppas) 10 Savage Orruk Boarboys (old metal ones, 5 with choppas and 5 with spears) 5 Savage Orruk Boarboy Maniaks (just bought these, still assembling) 4 Savage Big Bosses (all converted or non-GW - obviously won't be using all of them at the same time) 2 Maniak Weirdnobs (one is the actual model, in metal, the other is an old Savage Orc Shaman on Boar) 1 Wardokk (the actual model, in metal) 5 Savage Big Stabbas (3 normal, 2 converted) 1 Wurrgog Prophet (just built this, out of a Reaper Bones bugbear and boarboy bits, looks great) A typical list out of this would come to just under 1500 points without formations. Just to make myself feel better, I'm going to update what I've got, since I picked up a bit more stuff. I've stuck the same spell on both Wardokks knowing that only one of them can cast it, but it's a good spell (with that 24" range) and I like having two choices where to cast it from. amysrevenge Posted July 30, 2016 Author Share Posted July 30, 2016 Once I get going, my plan is to buy one of the new 20-strong units and add 10 bodies to my Savage Orruks and build 5 Big Stabbas out of the other 10 guys. I have some ideas for what to do about extra Gork Teef... That will put me up to 10 Big Stabbas in total (I have 5 now, but they only deploy in pairs). I'm riding the Bonesplitterz wave on models I already owned but hadn't painted, orthat I've recently traded for. So far all I've bought new for this was the Battletome and one stocked box of the platic boar boys (from the square base/5 model days). Oh and that one Bones model for $3. I'll be manually adding warpaint later - if I put the warpaint over top of the mold lines (as well as in other places) it would cover them up. But it would still be mold lines.
