Help: Death Playstyle

Alright... I need your help.

I recently came over from Order to Death and I’m struggling to adapt to the playstyle. 

I don’t think my list is letting me down, I think it’s my in game decision making. I wanted an army VERY different to my Free People, and I got it. 

So my questions to you is... what do I need to know to maxamise Death? What are priorities in your in game decision making process? 

I’ve built a very quick army and I think i’m playing them too aggressively. I’m charging models outside of Deathless Minions.

Hey there. I'm not that pro player, but i think i could tell you something about death and its playstyles.

First of all: your List. I miss some synergies and "no brainers".

1. You choose Neferata and Legion of Blood but you have just one Vampire Lord to gain that sweet +1 Attacks to ALL Melee Weapons. IMO Legion of Blood should get at least 1 VLoZD or some Blood Knights. This buff is very good and shouldn't be missed. 
2. A Block of 40 Skellies should allway go with Spears for the 2'' range.
3. If you decide to play with 40 Skellies you should pick a Necromancer to cast Danse Macabre on that Skellies.
4. Vargheists and Bat Swarms doesn't shine in a LoB List. These are more common in a Legion of Night list.
5. I see you want to Debuff Bravery and scream with Terrogheist. Why not include some Banshees rather than Cairn Wraith?

my feels from going through the same thing is that its a timing army mixed with hammer and anvil 

also being aware of positioning of things so you get your buffs, being in range for deathless 

also super durable / grindy

Running 2 TGs with only a single banner in your army seems odd.

I don't think you are using the +1A bonus enough. There's hardly any units that benefit from it.

LoB is a list to hit hard and fast with. I don't think you are achieving that with this list. I think swapping the vargheist unit out for blood Knights for the extra banner and dropping the bats+ wraith for another (mounted) VL could do Wonders for this list.
