Xelotath
Hey guys, a while back I found this picture of a Mawcrusha online and I really like the colours and highlights the model has going on. However I'm not really sure how to achieve it so I was wondering if any of you guys could shed some light on it as I would love to try and emulate it. Thanks all! meet.the.doctor
You have some clue on the left side of picture: for sure some deep washes were done with druchi violet, and brightest red wildrider red;)
Lysandestolpe
It is definitely a Mephiston type Red with pruple wash and then working up to yellow. Follow these steps and you should get similar result: 1. Base: Mephiston Red 2. Wash: Druchi Violet 3. Drybrush: Mephiston Red 4. Drybrush: Wildrider Red 5. Drybrush: Trollslayer Orange 6. Drybrush: 30/70 Trollslayer Orange/Illyanden Yellow 7. Highlight: Illyanden Yellow (only on specific edges such as eyebrow lines and certain points etc. Take your time and make sure you go slow with all drybrushes. As you go brighter, you go further away from the horns, etc. Good Luck!
RuneBrush
A quick Google image search throws up that this was done by Azoket Painting who can be found on Instagram (or on one of the Instagram feeds such as here). Could be worth contacting them - but I think @Lysandestolpe is pretty spot on with his breakdown. If you do, be sure to post it here (as I'm really liking it!)
