  1. How do you paint That good AND that fast?????
  2. Since it has been advertised, I'm looking close to those new imperium decors. The bad new is: how on earth did they add to all fronts of walls thoses tiny details of techo metallic things? The good news is, you can build many things and if you don't paint those details, youi got your ruins and cathedrals, with high decors. You can hide those metalic details with some foliages, or some more ruins... I'm planing to go this way for (mainly) AoS and will use for both AoS and 40K
  3. I think that I prefer dire wolves just because they look more dead...less furr, more monsters, less wolves... Too bad I have to add 2*5 oval bases for each boxe of them.
  4. I answer to myself: 10mn ago, I received a mail from GW: dire wolves are back in stock!!!
  5. I really like it and it's close to what I'd do...except that now, I can't buy wolves because they are out of stock on planet Earth (and probably in the whole galaxy also)
  6. Coach is expensive (but ok for what it does). I see it as a (super) utility unit at the beginning and then (level 2 and 4+) it begins to shine out in the battlefield. I'll try a super mobile army around it and its bataillon
  7. Good Idea, I didn't think about NH...mayne Lady Olynder herself for magic, she's a beast
  8. that's also my feeling about no really super big hitter. The center piece role goes to Black coach but not really a hitter, more an utility. But, the king and oly, seconded byt strong units are really heavy hammer. But not stardrake or archaon like. Maybe to leave this to Nagash himself... That's also why I'm looking at you Forge World with your mourngul
  9. for sure: this week end starts with Kill team. Huge release August: Titanicus : again, big release in the mean time: end of list of SCE and NH missing miniatures between september and...? 2 additional codexes for 40 (already annouced) before end 2018: 40K greenskins, important release with new mini for AoS, Slanesh has more or less been anounced but no release date (end 2018) and that's pretty much it. But, seeing how GW adds some specific endless spells for factions, we can count on new endless spells soon for our actual factions.
  10. Is there a HEAVY MAGIC kind of list around the LoS? It seems that magic got a big boost with LoS, why not trying a super big boom magic list with several wizzards (necro, vampires etc...) making sure that our bomm spells are well casted without any counter spell list. I think that it should be one of if no the best magic list in AoS.... What do you think?
  11. thx mate. I though that there were something rule wide about standart and musician...
  12. Thx but where did you find that? I couldn't find any rule. Is this rule for all type of flag/standart and all type of musician or specific to a unit?
  13. what do a musician and a flag bring to the unit (except aesthetic)? Is there something about the battleshok? I can't find anything in the rules.
  14. I don't think it is really doable: the arms are really too thin and you need a microscope to do it especially with my big fingers shaking like a vibrator
  15. Magnetize...big LOL How do you magnetize a skeleton arm which is 0.5mm wide? LOL. Impossible. Most basic units just can't. That means, buying more and more plastic which is not good. BTW, what a musician and a flag bring to the unit in term of rules?
  16. as written above, there is ONE trio of command marqued with a skull on the base, it is clearly identified. But yeah, too many musician and flags. Maybe 2 groups of 10? As they usefull in group of 5? I had the same build issue with my skelletons: 40 of them, 4 groups of 10 with each music chief flag...
  17. I have a question about assembling some miniatures and the WYSIWYG rule (what you see is what you got) Lets take an example that I'm in actually: Geave guards. Min unit = 5 max 30 . I got 20. I intend to play them mostly by 20 but sometimes by 5. Main weapon: Great whigh blate (one double handed big blade) For each 5, I can have Chief+Musician+Flag+2 normal. I'd like to build them like this but 1. when I group them by 20, is it allowed to say: they are all big blade? (even if musician and flagman are single blade) 2. when I build them, there is always one trio (and only one) identified by a skull on the base to say "this trio is the only chief+music+flag of the 20 man". Do I break the WYsiwyg rule? Can I do this in tourney? Please advice and share before I glue them tomorrow.... PS: I don't even remember what a musician and a flag bring to the unit in term of rules
  18. Speaking of gravesite, I can't find the rules. How do they work? do we have to take a battle trait or artefact? how many? ....
  19. But there is no alternative for most of them: no more giants for example!
  20. well, I meant "compared to", I'd better have said "less optimum" maybe.
  21. but we have the reapers, which are better and battleline. The hordes are week and the 20 in the box may be enough...
  22. Reikonor is indeed our most versatile heros. He is fast, do some damage, can fly and still is a wizzard. But he is not a heavy hitter: this role is more for the other 2 big guys (Oly and the king). For me, who like cavalry, I will almost always add Reikonor and the mounted NS in my lists.
  23. I think that our main problem, except for maybe the upcoming black coach, is that our heros are really fragile with only 7 W. No big beast like a stardrake or Ancient tree... But with the proper set-up, both Olynder and reikonor hit like a truck. Are they worth 220+ points? It is a bit soon to say.
  24. Maybe a mourngul, supported by something (heros to boost/heal, a (tarpit/chaff) unit to protect him)... He can hit pretty nicely but can also give 2 MW per unmodified 6... I'm so in love with this miniature.
