  1. That's the content of the old Battalion, but why not.
  2. At the risk of repeating myself, that "Hastings" guy from WoS is either completely out of the loop (as he is consistently wrong this days) or an impersonator of the old Warseer Hastings. Anyway, do not trust his rumors.
  3. Maybe for the trebuchet. But then it was already made in Finecast back in the day (granted, the new FW resin kit is also a reworked kit). But for the Rock Lobba : it was in Finecast, and now they are releasing it in metal. Vers strange... I agree but the same could be said for half the AOS ranges perfectly usable in ToW which they are not re-using, instead pouring ressources in proceeding back more or less cool equivalent. I.e. for O&G there will be available from GW : Plastic - AOS Stone Trolls (and other AOS Trolls) Plastic - River Trolls (from WFB) Metal - Online Only - Common Trolls (lookalikes the one in Skull Pass) Metal - Made To Order - Old Stone Trolls / Old river Trolls. Also, why use ressource to remake the Orc and Goblin Giant in resin, while the WFB Plastic Giant still exist, while making the Old Old Giant Metal MTO ?
  4. Well, that Orcs & Goblins reveal gives me a bad feeling about TOW's future... Pro : Wonderful two new Characters, always loved Black Orc Boss, and that Named Shaman is great (that Gob cauldron is quite Kruleboyz-y right...) A wide range returning bodes well. Especially happy to see Warhammer Forge kits in the mix ! Some of it will also have great use in AOS. Battalion Boxes are great (still very large, if smaller than the TK/Bret Launch boxes, no Rulebook in them means you won't end up with like 4 of them). I guess no characters means : BUY THE NEW RESIN GUYS, which is fine. Cons : Future of Goblinkind is strange. No squig, no fanatics, weird "delay" with Nightgob (no picture), etc. Same for Savages Orcs, in fact (as they exist in rules). Inconsistency in availability. What is the coherency in choosing what kits end up in MTO, Metal or Resin ? Why does Bretonnia get a resin Trebuchet but Orcs do not ??? No new plastic kit, only two new Characters (for existing units)... Just compare to Bret and TK. I want TOW to prosper, I really do, but it will NOT if GW doesn't put their plastic technology on it for better use. Why use ressources to rescuplt resin kits but not to produce plastic kits ? And game isn't maintained afloat by a few obscure references getting MtO... (even if's awesome). Maybe they haven't showed everything (including the Faction Dice or a big Centerpiece), but still : I'm a little worried now. POST-SCRIPTUM 1 : Legagy PDF - many YouTubers, including Miniwargaming, have said they already have them and have Factions video ready for the Launch Day (today), so we shouldn't be Far off... POST-SCRIPTUM 2 : the "leaked" Schedule. It. Is. NOT. A. LEAK. It's a youtuber who repeated ten times in its video that they were SPECULATING BASED ON NOTHING. @Morglum StormBasha any news from Warhammer World ?!
  5. Literally me, 100% agree. NB : the Solar Auxilia Fire Axe is an option in the elite plastic unit, apparently. BTW I resisted buying the CoS Command Corp and the Blacktalon, but I WILL get the Saviors of Cinderfall for sure! EDIT : you give me hope for Darkoath and book 6 ! Thank you EDIT : WHITEFANG CONFIRMED ?!?!
  6. REACT : - 40k & HH : lovely kits (cool Kroots and human infantry), interesting variations. Next. - KT : 😡 Not only is the Mandrakes an uninventive plastic copy-paste, but they even stole Khainite Shadow Stalker assets AND TZEENTCH DAEMON HAND FIRE RUMOR ENGINE 😡 - WHU : After the Electric Zombie, the Beast Bones Zombie ! Lovely team. - Warcry : FANTASTIC, the River Harlequins are cool, not too over the top yet distinctive, great helmets. And old bit of lore from AOS 1 made into plastic with the Fire Ghosts, nice. The Slaan Statue will be a fine addition to my collection *cough* - AOS : unexpected but very nice. The Crow Lady, cool, but the Cinderfalls Saviors, REALLY cool : mostly the Stormcast Key Guy and the Cat Spy Lady : she is the winner of the show for me. Only disappointment : no Chaos, no Darkoath...
  7. Yeah and GW in their Ruelbooks do not tease all the upcoming reveals, only the new models of the two "launch" armies...
  8. So this rumor is credible, going by who did like it. I'm fine with canned Plague Censer and Gutter Runners (as in the current Metal models) but ... No updated kits seems very weird for the two oldest plastic kit of the faction. They need, like the Underworld Warband, a NEW plastic kit that makes both Plague Monks and Plague Censers Bearers, and a NEW plastic kit that makes both Gutter / Shadow Runners (this one maybe for Warcry) ASAP.
  9. Seems to refer to both the Warcry Lumineth and the Kill Team Mandrakes with this one. For the picture, I don't think it is THAT ZOOMED IN, i.e. the pointy bits aren't elf ears...
  10. Last time, wasn't there like 4 stories, one per week, leading up to the preorder ? That would make it quite late, right ?
  11. I'm glad my expectations where confirmed by the Fang, but as said by THW : "Chorfs in 4th Ed." =/= in 2024. This year we have FEC & Death, then the end of Dawnbringers (Chaos "Maraudeurs", lady of Ruin, etc) & Warcry (LRL vs Nighthaunt), then Skaven and Stormcast. It's PACKED enough !
  12. I'm absolutely sure Chaos Dwarfs will come in AOS4, maybe not in 2024, but soonish : we have, like Kharadron Overlords since the first AOS rulebook in 2015, too many hints in the background and models like Warcry or Hobgrots. Regarding Beasts of Chaos, they do 100% belong in TOW (both the WFB setting and the current TOW narrative), that's for sure. For AOS, the God-ification would be an elegant solution (PESTIGORS, GW), instead of pure squatting (well I also think Bonespliterz are prime candidates to go back to TOW but with COS, GW showed the squatting could be quite erratic, with then squatted kits reappearing in TOW). But with pure AOS models (Endless Spells, Faction Scenery, Underworlds*, new Heroes, Warcry appearances, etc.) being released for BoC, I don't see them squatted anyway. * Like Gitmob and Bonespliterz you could say ...
  13. I'm strangely fascinated by this kit I was not aware of (I started WFB in 2003). And instead of redoing the whole kit in plastic for Warriors of Chaos, GW could just release a FW resin Chaos Beast Handler on 30x30 base, I guess... BTW I love the fact that TOW, like HH, publishes rules for non-existant models, encouraging the implied use of (100% GW-made) Proxy and Conversations ! (I don't think the Chaos Beast Handler will fall into that category BTW, as it apparently belongs to the Grand Army List...) @Garrac TOW is currently also published in French and German, but man I DREAD to read the awful French translation I just ordered (for the Lore sections ; in terms of rules it is generally okay, but the background.... Back in 2000's when we had a French White Dwarf the quality was quite good - at least that's what I thought as a youngling).
  14. Does this means the new plastic kit for Chaos Warriors is going to be Chaos Hounds with Handlers ? Curious. BTW, no Mutalith / Big Red monster for Woc lists, nor Chaos Warshrine ??
  15. Absolutely glorious @Ejecutor ! Thank you. Two ideas : Could we maybe have a button to go directly to the bottom of your site, next to the one leading back to the top ? I don't know nothing about website making but could we also have a kind of "Recap pane" of some sort with all the unresolved RE (so we don't need to scroll) ? Anyway great work !
  16. Well, that "Hastings" over there at War of Sigmar probably isn't the same guy from Warseer time, as he is usually quite wrong. On the other hand, Valrak Rumors + Dwarfen Dice = I trust the next TOW release is Orcs & Goblins vs Dwarfen Kingdoms next in 2024. I'm also taking from the last TOW Lore article that we could see Chaos Warriors before they got to the Siege of Praag (which is "not anytime soon" and got me worried for my black armored barbarians) ...
  17. 62.50 for 20 Tomb Guards is very high, too high for me TBF... Then if we look at an old-but-modern WFB range still available : Dark Elves 10 Corsaire : 25 euros 10 Dreadspers : 32.50 euros. 10 Black Guards : 45 euros. Tomb Guards would be the equivalent of Black Guards, and yet GW did not just apply the "elite price" (doubling it)... At least that.
  18. That Store Anniversary Auric Runesmiter and the Vulkyn Flameseekers for Warcry do convince me the range is in for a resculpt in 4th ed. @Chikout BTW, happy New Years everyone. I'm really happy to see the return of the Old World (but the prices...), but with @KingBrodd let's take a moment to think about how good AOS state is right now : Dawnbringers, Cities of Sigmar, Flesh-eater Courts, Warcry and Underworlds, and soon Skavens with 4th edition : 2024 is going to be a great year for everything "Fantasy" in the Warhammer-verse
  19. BTW talking about models prices (instead of books)... the MTO Battle for Maccrage is 90£... I checked, the original from 2004 was 40£ / 50 euros..................... That does not bode well for TOW prices.
  20. for AOS you get a code in the printed book to get access to it in the App (yeah, that's no ePub proper but still digital content) But yeah, same as you !
  21. If we look at Horus Heresy prices, we may get the three main books for 55£ each... A bargain. Looking forward for the rest of the prices, the big boxes and the Knights on Foot, the resin characters and the Tomb Swarms...
