  1. The last artefact list has the nulsidian icon, along with the draught of ale to double attacks once per game, and the demon slayer, which ignores wards
  2. Sorry my (admittedly very knee ******) reaction was more about fyreslayers than lumineth. I play both and I get why the lumineth units that got reductions got them. Not to mention the last 1500 point lumineth list I used just dropped by 70 points so I’m not about to argue with it! I expect fyreslayers will be alright in the end, they’re quite a robust army. But given the amount they’ve lost from the last ghb (no Galletian veterans, look out sir’s new rules aren’t quite as good as not being targetable at all) seeing only point increases was a big oof from me.
  3. Some of the point changes are bonkers. I don’t usually like to complain without trying things first, but who on earth though it was a good idea to drop points on most lumineth units, whilst handing only only point increases to fyreslayers, right as we go into a ghb period that favours wizards?
  4. For Geysers of primal magic- embarked units don’t count as contesting objectives, so I think if that did clip an embarked ironclad the units on board wouldn’t be affected?
  5. It’s propaganda if you ask me. I suspect Gitzdee is actually three goblins in a trench coat.
  6. If you took out all of the Phoenix temple and wanderers stuff (plus shadow warriors who share a kit with the sisters of the watch) that’s 13 fewer warscrolls. So might tie in with that rumour with new units added (and some equivalent swaps for the Freeguild stuff)
  7. That feels like wish listing from someone salty to me, but we’ll see.
  8. @Beliman @Arzalyn I applaud your efforts to put rumours in this rumour thread.
  9. Are they artefacts? Or a unique enhancement like aspects of the champion?
  10. I wonder if there’s a link between the kits rumoured to be leaving the cities of sigmar range and those that are featuring in the old world? Might explain why darkling covens are rumoured to be sticking around whilst wanderers and Phoenix temple are going (but presumably the kits are staying around for use in the old world) of course the dwarves still seem to be going against this
  11. Worst of the edition? Fyreslayers aren’t even the worst army of my own personal collection. They’re in pretty good shape at the moment.
  12. The Phoenix is one of my favourite mythological beasties and the flamespyre was a big part of why I started painting again. I’ll be really sad to see it go. I can but hope a future lumineth update sees a Phoenix return in some form. (I realise the words lumineth and update will have some people frothing at the mouth but still)
  13. I’m a little sad that Thryng lost the duardin coalition rules but other than that I like most of what I see. I’m really pleased the frigate now has a role that sets it apart from the other ships- don’t know if it’ll be any good but it looks fun.
  14. I assume it was intentional that you took 13 rattling guns?
  15. It’s not so much a leak at this point as it’s been officially released. Basically Avalenor is up 20 and stoneguard and the stonemage up by 10. The generic spirit of the mountain is *down* by 30 though. There’s also reductions for the bannerblade, lord regent (and lyrior), the calligrave, the underworlds warband, twins and dawnriders. Looking at my last Ymetrica list (I only have 10 stoneguard so it’s not pure Alarith) it went up by 20 points which means I have fewer endless spell choices but otherwise wouldn’t have to change much. I don’t know how the competitive lists fare though.
  16. Now it’s official- I’m amazed that spirits of durthu are going down in cost - I wonder what that was based on as they already seem to be a must take?
  17. You complete the tactic if a unit that was set up using the “from the woodland depths” rule made a charge. That rule includes both walk the hidden paths AND strike and fade, both of which involve you removing the unit and setting it up elsewhere.
  18. The Sylvaneth changes would be just what I want for Christmas but they feel a bit wish listy to me- Durthu in particular already feels like a must take. I guess, if this is true, they feel that Syvaneth might struggle with the new ghb rules? Lady of the vines will be amazing for under 300 points as well. I admittedly have only been on the receiving end of the underguts ironblasters/ gnoblars once and don’t have ogors myself, but does the price hike there feel like a bit of an overcorrection? Ironblasters are a bit too cheap for sure, but there’s options for counter play so that feels a bit steep. The gnoblars really need an faq rather than a price hike.
  19. Based on the app looks like daughters can be allies but cities not
  20. New warscrolls are up on the app. A subtle but welcome change- looks like sunmetal weapons now affect all non mount attacks for the units that have them- meaning the champion’s weapons (and sentinel’s melee attacks) can now cause mortals as well
  21. I think the mortal wounds for new stoneguard are in addition to their damage, not instead of. In any case I’m glad to see the back of 6s doing double damage- the amount of different groups of dice you’d have to roll for one 5 man unit, assuming you had a banner and seneschal, was amazingly clunky.
  22. Opinion from a casual lumineth player- the minor tweaks (and there seem to be a lot of them) look to add up to a large difference. I’m not thrilled that there’s already a new book when the spine is barely creased on my old one, but from a rules I’m pretty happy overall from a changes standpoint. Sentinels are toned down just enough to make them less spammable, without punishing people who just brought one or two boxes of them. Meanwhile pretty much everything that was underwhelming has been tuned up a bit - I might be biased here as I particularly like using bladelords, the calligrave, eltharion and alarith units. The change to shining company is slight on paper but opens up how the vanari dude if the army plays- they were frustratingly static before (unless you abandoned shining company first turn) but now dawnriders and wardens will have much greater mobility and hopefully will open up how my army plays. I’m also pleased that so many of the allegiance abilities are finally on the warscrolls- having half a page of army rules that only mattered if you had a cathallar, combined with special rules scattered all over the book (2 books in my case as I used BR teclis rather than getting the 2nd tome) made referencing anything a headache. The whole thing looks a bit more streamlined now. Again, not thrilled I’m having to look at getting a new book so soon, but seeing as there is one the changes they have made are the kind of stuff I was hoping for. My lumineth have been shelved for a while but I do want to dust them off and try them out again based on this. I can understand anyone with lots of sentinels or wind spirits might be a bit cheesed off though.
  23. I dunno- given the current state of the world, a recluse shut in that only talks to his cat is probably the most relatable iteration of teclis we’ve had yet.
  24. There’s a command trait (leader of the duardrazhal) that lets any allied duardin use the ur gold runes- that would work on Gotrek as well
