  1. New list I am going to try. Based around my one from the 1 dayer but with some tweeks. Hagg Nar Hag Queen on Cauldron of Blood (Blessing of khaine) (290) Bloodwrack Shrine (Shadowstone, mindrazor) - General, devoted Disciples (210) Morgwaeth Blade-coven, Crimson Rejuvenation: 140 (to keep Shrine/Cauldron going) Celestant Prime (300) (Deal with backline shooters/target Sisters cant get to) 30 Sisters of Slaughter (Bucklers) (300) 20 Blood Sisters (480) 5 Blood sisters (140) (I went with 5 sisters over 10 WE. They have better save/same wounds and have better attack output if on their own) 5 Doomfire Warlocks (Steed of shadows) (140) Still not sure this over a 2nd MEdusa. I love the medusa attacks but usually wont take effect until turn 2/3. I like the 2nd Shrine but I just cant fit it in. Warlocks can be a fast backline unit or sneaky obj stealer with steed of shadows) 9 Drops (as I think Morgwaeth counts a 2) 2 Casts, 2 dispels. 2 witch brews. 2 prayers

  3. lol yes, a second hag i deleted. will edit that I was going for the extra damage for the units i throw in but yeah its MW for models removed so probably not worth it. Probably Sacrament of blood Temple nest was for drops, but yeah I suppose it might be a waste, especially with the stalker tax I had a fun thought just now of the 3x20 snakes lol

Will answer as much as I can 1: I really Like the rollers, kinda use them for most of my AOS stuff atm (both my armies are Aelves so works fine) I just used green stuff, wetting the greenstuff and roller slightly so it wont stick. To break up the rest of the base (since my DOK are brown bases with Grass and tufts) I went with some AK terrain stuff I won at LVO (https://ak-interactive.com/product/terrains-light-earth-250ml/) and used that. I washed both with Earthshade and then drybrushed with a few colours (finalizing with some tufts from Army Painter) 2: Broken statue I had from my old highelves. They have a good range of stuff from Scribor miniatures. https://www.sciborminiatures.com/en_,shop.php?art=758 3: Lions and shoulders are from the High Elf WFB Lion Chariot kit. I had like 20 Lions kicking around from Chariots which are unusable atm, so made some Scourgerunner chariots and now these guys 4:It was pretty easy, just needed some greenstuff to make the legs a bit wider without looking to odd, and I had to cut some of the shoulders a bit to fit the lion ones. Also a little green stuff for some of the female heads as they dont have necks deep enough TBH the dawnriders seem fine (not done horses) the main issue is they have some annoying mold lines. However, Wardens are far worse for moldlines lol

  7. Morathi is the one true queen of shadows and I will cut any of you that disagree She is one of the best heroes from WFB lore as the stuff she did to survive and prosper is great. Plus shes one of the oldest heroes in the game. In AOS she is still just as amazing and yeah she got screwed out of being a god because Slaanesh ate her. So cut her a break. Better than mr Teclis "I made a race and abandoned them" baggy pants. Now onto other things, I made a new list i want to try Zeitrec (Because I want the spell options and superiority) Alarith Stonemage - General - Command Trait : Fast Learner - Artefact : Gift of Celennar - Lore of the High Peaks : Assault of Stone Avalenor, the Stoneheart King Scinari Cathallar - Artefact : Silver Wand - Lore of Hysh : Total Eclipse, Protection of Hysh 2 x 10 Stoneguard (Hammers) 2 x 10 Wardens (Protection/lambent light) 2 x 10 Sentinals (Ethereal/Flare) 10 Dawnriders (Speed of Hysh) Temple Twinstones Sanctum 2 units of Stoneguard in the front with the King behind next to stonemage (with Sanctum on) Flanked both sides by sentinals/wardens split. Dawnriders either flank to get most effect. Avalenor should be able to +1A both units of stoneguard most the time and they can attack together. They get rerolls for AS for the King/Guard which is why temple over legion 7 drops only 20 sentinels but I wanted a more balanced army
  8. So did a mini event (3 games) today which was great to be outside and playing some AOS again. (I won 205/210pts) I used my triple tower list I had been wanting to use: Hagg Nar Hag Queen on Cauldron of Blood (Blessing of khaine) (290) Bloodwrack Shrine (Shadowstone, mindrazor) - General, devoted Disciples (210) Bloodwrack Shrine (The withering) (210) Celestant Prime (300) 30 Sisters of Slaughter (Bucklers) (300) 20 Blood Sisters (480) 10 Witch Aelves (daggers) (120) 5 Khinari Heartrenders Game 1: total conquest I was against COS – Living city Drycha Knight incantor Hurricanenum Runelord 10 Longbeards 10 Warriors 20 Sisters of the watch 20 Irondrakes 6 Kurnoth Hunters with Scythes (cant remember what else) Solid win by turn 5 with both objectives. Only had 6 sisters of slaughter and both shrines left for his army Game 2: Blades edge COS – Tempest Eye Assassin Knight Incantor Celestial Hurricanum with Celestial Battlemage Celestant Prime 30 Crossbowmen 2 x 10 Freeguild Handgunners 20 Freeguild guard (swords) 20 Freeguild guard (halberds) 10 Shadow Warriors 10 Shadow Warriors Not sure what else He got the doubt turn 1 into 2 and took off my cauldron with shooting. This put the pressure on but Imaged to swing it back around. End of game had 2 Blood sisters and the 2nd Shirne with 7 wounds vs Just his assassin left on the board Game 3: Shifting obj Big waaagh Boss on Cabbage Drummer hero drummer hero Shamen 2 x 3 Gruntas 2 x 10 Biguns 15 Biguns Not sure how his list details, but he hand of gorked his unit of 15 buffed Bigunsz to behind my army and then failed to charge. I just ran forwards and smashed into his army (20 blood sisters with Mind Razor and Witch brew = bye bye 2 x 10 Big uns_ Tabled his army by turn 4 and had most of mine left I know this is mostly vague but I am tired lol. If a particular game is of interest I can say longer. Pro and cons: Tripple twoer was fun. 2 shrines pack a punch. Hag on cauldron didn’t do much all event bar buffs. Only having the 1 buff is a shame but would have to drop something to get another hag (and tbh Id only want the new character one) The prime was fun. Games 1 and 2 I held him till turn 3 and he had some big impact. Game 3 however I dropped him turn 2 (in hindsite a bad bad move) into the Cabbage. As I wanted my buffed snakes to kill his biguns they went first, which meant the cabbage one shot the prime. Ouch... The Witch Aelves were Meh for 10. Buckelrs would have been better or tbh 10 Sisters of slaughter The sisters of slaughter and Blood Sisters were great as usual The heartrenders....Were ****** lol. Game 1 they dropped down to make space for the prime and failed. game 2 they dropped down, failed to hit any of the 10 handgunners on the flank with shooting then died in combat to them Game 3 dropped and failed to wound the drummer hero dude, then ran other, failed to wound 1 remaining gore grunta in shooting and combat and died. Waste of 90pts and a drop lol. So Ideas? One is the same list and just replace Heartrenders for anything else for 90pts lol. Or take an endless spell for the 2nd Medusa. Another could be to drop the 2nd shrine/heart renders and free up 160pts, either 10 more Sisters of slaughter for my unit of 10 (changed from witchaleves) or 5 Doomfire warlocks, but having the heroes on 13W is really good. Maybe another option over the Prime? Would give me 390pts (could make the 2nd unit of SOS into 30 and take the 140pt Hag Hero) I am not sure atm, I feel I want more bodies but its where to get the bodies is tough

  13. I mean not yuet, but maybe in 2.0? Cause this would have been written with Future scrolls in mind. Its interesting as well, as HAGG NAR is on her warscroll (not on others I dont think) and sadly the heartseeker bow hasn't changed
  14. 140pts for a hag with 4+ shrug to the unit (5W total) is useful. Helps with capping objs also since the hag isnt alone. The brew is also different, being reroll wounds not just failed wounds.

  17. @LuminethMageI probably will try Teclis at one point, just to say I have tried him for a few games. Do we know his base size? Id love to do something silly like Teclis Gotrek Cathaller 1 x 10 Wardens 3 x 10 Sentinals Legion It would be terrible though lol. But amusing to just let Gotrek run forwards with Teclis blasting spells supported by the Sentinals. Not sure how I would run a sensible Teclis list. Might actually be worth doing something highly mobile Like maybe Teclis Cathaller 2 x 10 Dawnriders 5 Dawnriders 20 Wardens 10 Wardens Lance Spell portal Balances might be the 2 drop: Teclis Cathaller 2 x 20 Wardens 10 Wardens 3 x 10 Sentinals Legion

  19. Thats the list we were talking about. It won a 1 day event (its Peter Kowski's - etc DOK player) but even he admitted it was silly. They talked about it on facehammer and I agree, its a one trick pony and in a 5 day event scenarios depending, it wouldnt do as well. it also played vs 2 shooting armies, which this excells in. A rush army would really hurt this list
  20. So my last list was ok, but I noticed some elements that I wanna try changing. Mainly: 1: 10 knight get stuck in combat its isnt great, impact they do well, but then just fizzle out. Wanna try 2x5 2: Light of Eltharion just dies. It looks like he should be tanky and do stuff, but he just flat out dies to 1w shooting and magic (this was running him inside 30 wardens with Protection up) 3: Wardens can get work done, they really can, only if you roll well. 4: Our heroes are so squishy 5: Not having assault of stone was missed as it is great for dealing with big block low save units 6: Sentinals are great, IF you get the light spell off or IF you can roll 5/6. I had a turn of shooting where I think I for 4MW over 27 Sentinal shots.   21. This extended release for Lumineth is balls. They were teased in January, then army shown in March. Its now August and we still have like what, 1 hero and 2 units released in a limited box? And I am sick of the Covid excuse. Yes, Covid is a global ******, but how come every other form of mail/deliveries seem to be going through. My company internationally ships and we haven't stopped. The fact 40K release has come out out, shows they probably have the stuff sitting in the warehouses ready to go right now. Secondly, yes its half an army, and it misses a look of "ompf" the army could have. Yes, sentinels are good, but frankly I shouldn't have to take 40-80 Archers to feel like I can win games. The fact we have 2 non character heroes, and neither of them if a combat one, is a pain. We have two super squishy general options. That’s lame. Anyway, I will keep trying them and do alternative options, but I wont run then at an event.
  22. I have tried 5 (twice) and 10 (once). 5 alone can die quickly, and 10 can hit hard but can be a good target for the opponent. I want to use these, and yes they are good on the charge vs 1W infantry, but I am struggling a little. I am going to try 2 x 5, maybe working together using the 2 can attack for 1 on combat.

  24. Had my 4th 2k game with them today. 2 wins 2 losses so far (todays was a loss) Was a good close game, but he got the double turn 2 into 3 and he managed to make the most of it (his Celestant prime and hurricanum were both on 1 wounds ) went to turn 5
