Hey! Sorry for the threadomancy, but I just found this post. I was the opponent in this match. Thanks for a good writeup and a good game. I'll probably remember it for a long time, since it was my first tournament game of Warhammer. No need to apologize for not knowing the rules, I hardly noticed, because I was so focused on getting to know my own army. As you say I think the game could have been a little closer if I had played slightly better and concentrated my firepower on your softer targets. In the end it could have made a big difference for me, since I was only one point short of second place in the final standings. Anyway, thanks again for a good way and a perfect introduction to tournament Warhammer!
