  1. There’s 3 of each of the other Grand Alliances present, so order representation is only as limited as death and destruction are. I also really like that the warbands aren’t god specific.
  2. It says ‘an ability card’ whereas it refers to a set of fighter cards, so they might have like warband special rules - like chapter tactics kind of thing.
  3. It sounds like the cards are just stat cards for the characters, and then cards that generate the scenario.
  4. Have you watched the video? There’s not a great deal in there but there’s a broad overview. Rules talk will come over the 2 week preorder window.
  5. I’m surprised there’s any extra warbands coming alongside the starter. I assumed they’d want to spread them out a bit. Keeps interest up.
  6. Them being eastern themed doesn’t make them ‘the Malifaux warband’, because the eastern theme in Malifaux is a pretty small part of the Malifaux theme.
  7. I think the Cypher Lords are my favourite. It’s close though. The Corvus Cabal are close behind them, and I like all 6.
  8. Ten Thunders are one faction out of the 7 or 8 Malifaux factions.
  9. Samurai and Geisha are as big a part of mailfaux as they are here. There’s only one eastern faction in Malifaux.
  10. Hastings said this on the War of Sigmar blog apparently: I’m not sure how reliable Hastings is these days, but i’d be pretty happy with that list. I could see the lion thing we saw being Wanderers, the pattern on the shoulder pad is present on some of the existing Wanderers models.
  11. I doubt it’ll get Forge World support. Necromunda, Blood Bowl etc do because the Specialist Games team are part of Forge World.
  12. You mean you’re just getting one?!
  13. The rumoured price is £20 but nothing concrete yet.
  14. The Armigers in the trailer were conversions from the normal Armigers and the chaos vehicle sprue. They said in the seminar at Warhammerfest.
  15. I thought they probably would have mentioned it if there had been. It’s different to their usual reveal things because there’s no central seminar to do the initial reveal.
  16. More specifically, Warcry is by the same team of people who did Underworlds and Kill Team. But yeah, they’re under the GW design studio, like you say.
  17. They said at warhammerfest that there would be competitive play support for Warcry like there is for Underworlds and Kill Team (prize packs etc), so it must have been designed at least with some consideration for competitive play. That said, Warhammer Underworlds is probably meant to be their most competitive focussed game, and if you don’t find that particularly balanced, I wouldn’t hold your breath for this being any better.
  18. I dunno if we’ll get any previews for Warhammer Day. I think they’d have mentioned it.
  19. That’s when all the apocalypse stuff is going up, and there’s a lot being released for that and it’s basically a new system, I think it’ll get the week to itself. Edit: actually we’ve had the retailers price lists for that week and it was just Apocalypse.
  20. Yeah but it’s not for preorder this week or the next, so the 6th is the earliest, which is the 13th July release, hence nothing til at least Mid-July.
  21. I hope the 1000 point game mode takes off. It seems interesting and it’s a good size for me (small enough I can do multiple armies without going bankrupt, but big enough that I can still include some bigger monsters and stuff which tend to be my favourite models).
  22. The last one was the elven runes that are present on the Harlequin bases... I’m not convinced that’s Ogor related.
