It was. It’s rare for them to have articles this late (apart from previews at 6 on a Sunday and other scheduled previews), and they’ve sent out their Monday email which they do after the last article on a Monday.
Again, it’s a completely different, separate group of people to any of those games. It has no bearing on releases for those systems, so why make it a competition?
Necromunda isn’t 40k, is made by an entirely different studio, and god knows when these models will actually come out. And the rules for these models have been around for like, 2 years now.
There were rumours of more plastics to come as well, including mkii. Whether they turn out to be true or not, we’ll see. I’m pretty sure there was anyway, it’s been a while since the photos leaked now.
There’s a difference between ridiculous complaints and fair criticism. I agree that a lot of the time GW can’t win, but their codex roadmap is basically useless. We already knew most of it and the bits we didn’t we still basically know nothing.
Weirdly the ‘this weeks pre-orders’ email GW sent out yesterday mentions Arena Mortis, seems like that was meant to be up for preorder this weekend too.
Im not sure how likely it is these days, but one of the things I hope The Old World does is bring back really customisable characters. The way Vampire Lords, Chaos Lords etc had so many options for powers and equipment and magical artefacts and all sorts was one of my favourite parts of Warhammer Fantasy.
The Stormcast model isn’t being shown until next week, not today.
‘If we were the Stormcast Eternals, we’d be hoping to hear about something strong enough to take down Gobsprakk right about now.
Perhaps they’ll find just the thing next week…’
Theres still a fair bit of Sisters of Battle to come at some point too.
It wasn’t really a ‘leak’, it seemed they uploaded the Sunday preview by accident on Friday and it was quickly taken down. They’re towards the bottom here, it’s just the endless spells rereleased in 2 packs:

I’m not sure the ‘historic’ game in the 40k setting gives them more creative freedom than just normal 40k does (if you even believe the random reddit rumours).
