where on gods green earth does the headgear of the artwork looks anything like the Kehmrian mask, shown above?! seriously, guys, all things shown point to a von Carstein inspired aesthetic and Isabella. But tbh at this point I realy hope, she won't have a name besides the title and the hinds of a decedent with a tragic love story, simply to see both sides, including me,  being wrong.

i'd say people are probably talking about the zoomed out shot we get of this thing, which is very similar to the khaldia image. one thing I thought of is that some of these shots/images may be different pieces of concept art or the different scales causing things to look different.

So on the possible identity of the mortarch of grief? Some are saying it might be Khalida. Image from facebook, what do you guys think?

There is also this image in that trailer. I see roses and some sort of headgear that almost looks DOK (but thats obviously not it). Roses to me point Isabella but the rest looks like Khaldia for me.

  3. I think backup warscrolls is a good idea. If you go with a short range throwing axe unit, they could count as freeguild bows/handgunners/etc., glade guard, or arkanuat company, just something that is ranged and universal order battleline. For the lion cavalry, i'd go with demgryphs, makes the most sense to me.

If you are looking for axes, both fyreslayers and marauder horsemen have throwing axe weapon profiles and i believe model options for them as well.

  4. @Mayple and @Enoby, you all are totally right. Missed the spite revenant champion. I also think glade guard are mixed gender upon taking a closer look at GWs website. I dunno about the dreadspear/darkshards though. From images on the GW website I couldn't see anything that differentiated any gender, though maybe it is in the rules/fluff.

    Anywho, back to rumors!

  5. Pretty sure the Namarti Thralls are the first mixed gender unit. The 3 models on the right, including the standard bearer have much slimmer arms, have covered torsos, and less definition on their arm muscles . Also, it may just be me, but their heads look more feminine to me than the other heads, slightly more oval and less angular.

I think this is a great movie. As an added plus the feminine characteristics are not overblown.

  6. Echoing a number of people, thanks for all the work, the site is amazing!

In terms of feedback, I think a donation drive that let users customize their profiles on the left of their posts would be a nice reward without taking anything away from other people. Could have different levels that would let you do different things, like choose a rank from a different faction or allegiance, change the background color, add a signature, etc.

What about a community shop that lets people sell things where either a portion of the sale goes to TGA (listing fee) or people in the community can use their talent to design scenario packs, tokens, 3d printer terrain files, etc. that are donated to the community store with profits going to TGA.

Lastly, I've got the guy below. Anyone that pays 20 bucks towards the running of the site, I'll ship him to you (In the USA). If abroad we can figure out something for shipping.

  7. I saw your new pictures and the word lightening and was praying "please use blue flame or lightening flame on the swords" as i read the other comments then BAM you delivered! Can't wait to see it! I agree about the ones on fire being swung and the other ones being ignited or what have you. There is that new blog post by Thomas Lyons (I think?) on here about his duradin. fyreslayers, and overlords. he has the fyreslayers "igniting" on their skin in a molten lava sorta way. Seeing something similar with lightening would be great!

Also, heads are chaos marauder heads with horns cut off?

  8. @StoneMonk, lol good question! I don't know the answer to that yet! In the one I'm working on there is a lot less general/character freedom. Everybody has to start with a necromancer as their general and will then have a chance to have them "transform" into a vampire or flesh eater ghoul king based on a choice they make in a scenario. Hopefully, the story in it is interesting enough to make up for those limitations!

For a wider ruleset where players can be whatever alliance and hero they want, I'm not sure. Maybe some sort of title system that then gives them the option to become more powerful or something.  I think this developer diary on the new 40k roleplay that Ulisses is working on is a unique take on the issue we are talking about, http://www.ulisses-us.com/wrath-glory-designer-diary-december-2017/.
