Maybe we get lucky and GW is doing a massive human faction with each of the Mortal Realms? That would give us 8 different human factions each with their own identity, abilities, and a very different looks. Could get an Asian, Russian, African, etc. Would also allow Cities to remain untouched as well?

As the The "mortals redesign" Discussion talked about several times the presenters do not really know much more then what was given to them. All we really have to go by is the article which does not give much and it has been around two months without any word. So we really have no idea what it is going to be right now. At best Cities get some love with the crusaders being their own sub faction or full faction on their own. At worse the crusades is the replacement for cities and all the other races get removed from the game. Or they could do something in between lol.

As others have said the info we got is super limited and we really should not try to figure out what they are doing yet, Buuuuuuuuuut that does not stop me from speculating the worse lol. The biggest red flag so far to me was picking a crusade in only 1 realm instead of a giant 8 realm one. I can understand pulling away from the major cities as a focus, but sticking to just one realm just seems for a faction just seems off? Really it feels like GW easy way to put humans into their own faction, give them a completely lore friendly new look, keep the lore from being destroyed, and who knows what with the other races. I think they have some pretty good alternatives paths to choose from that would be a win win for everyone, and I think it would be crazy for them the remove around several dozen models from the game........................... Of course they may just try and push all the Cities units and players back into The Old World for a quick player boost? As for as religion, so far from the lore I have read the Sigmar religion is not that bad if you have to pick one. It is pretty accepting/forgiving with a god who is not perfect, but is at least trying to be a better deity and cares about his people. And from the books I read their society is pretty much 99% religion focused so I am not sure how much more fanatical they could get lol.

Reading the lore right now and I don't see how they could change all of it so drastically. There is way too much integration and working together to fight the greater enemy going on. Hell they set up that most human cities and Stormcast armor are built and maintained by dwarfs. The crusade part is more for gameplay reason I think. There is just too much too change with how the entire world is set up to go racists humans 40k repeat. So this loops back around to why focus on the humans and the fear that they may remove the non races from the game itself. These were all the realistic options I could come up with in my paranoia lol: Humans get their own sub faction, but cities just gets a rework alongside them? Cities could use some trimming and the human models are the worse in the faction. (Think this is the safest bet right now) Other races will get their own crusade style reworks with the creation of several new factions? The non races get removed from the game and get spent back to The Old World. No lore change since they are focusing on just the human event. (Pretty much have their cake and eating it too) The non races get spilt up into other order factions which really really new some new units. It has been about two months and was hoping to at least get an answer to what the crusaders are lol. BUT it seems like it won't happen anytime soon......

The only thing I can think of is that maybe the new infantry options may be a buff since they want to charge into hordes??? Or maybe the new caster is the missing piece for them? LRL has a lot of meh units and a few strong ones that are really unfun ones to play against. Will be interesting to see what GW does for them all!

Changing Shining Company by allowing them to charge would really help the Dawnriders which I always found strange that they had that ability and really did not help them lol. So maybe all hope is not lost!!!!

As a person who thinks that those duel releases one of the factions always get screwed I am a bit scared for my LRL now lol. Know the picture is blurry as hell, but the swordsmen look the same. And a lot of people thought they were the weakest LRL and I thought they would at least get Sunmetal Weapons?

Wonder when they will start showing off the new LRL or the book or box?

I'm hoping that the LRL book makes other options more viable. Seems like if you are not maxing out on Vanari you are doing it wrong. Based off the leaks it seems that stonemages got a buff, while the archers got nurfed. Will be interesting since the ballistas went up in points, but nobody really uses the poor thing already.

I do wonder if it would have been better to focus on one city and some unique cultures one at a time? Or that would have been too much work and going for a generic army with no affiliation was the easier choice? .......... Of course they did set this human army in only one realm so I really don't know what they are doing lol???? So many questions, hope we get some info soon. My only fear is that the crusades is just a way to remove all other races except humans and do it in a lore friendly way. I am foolishly still filling out my Cities armies (no humans at least lol) so the sooner they explain what is their plan the better lol.

I would like to think that we could extrapolate anything from that name, but I looked at the other Scinari names and I am pretty sure they are just random names pulled from a bag. ........................................ I mean they also yoga pose on a mount, in the air, or on another elf?

The Lumineth point changes got me excited for whatever is coming in the book................. Of course, with how random some changes have been I wonder if I am over analyzing the changes lol!

So I am new to this game, but do the points changes seem tame across the board? Do a 5 or 10 point increase really change list building for 2000 point games? I really do not know!! Like I always figure constant point changes allows GW to shake up the meta and try new things. Especially since they do this every 6 months and can always reverse the changes. I come from Star Wars Legion and while the point changes were mostly tame they often looked at the least taken units and just buffed the ****** out of them for six months lol.

Anybody seen the Cities of Sigar changes? Also if anyone interested they have images up on the 4chan Sigmar thread, and a few on Reddit.

I come from the Star Wars mini games and those point changes always did good things for the game. The meta would be getting stale with the same few units and the shake up would give bad units a time to shine. Of course I am not sure if AoS point/rule changes work the same way. Looks like the swordsmen for both LRL and Stormcast got a ****** ton better? As for the point we need them to leak the point changes already. I am getting tired of all these rumored one that kill my factions I like to play lol. At least give me some good ones for my units.

Wish we would have gotten an outline by now. Looking at all these comments I just realized how little we really know. Shame as well since I do want to expand my Cities army, but the risk is just too great right now that any unit would just be removed from the roster. Think I am leaning for the full destruction of the Cities faction with each race being put into another order faction. I know some work better then others, but some of these factions really need new units. Wonder if it is the new Slaanesh hero coming with the LRL duel box? I could be wrong, but a lot of the new stuff have been solo foot heroes? It Tzeentch coming with LRL, my bad. It is still early and I am at work lol!!!

Shipping issues were a problem for the Star Wars mini games before the pandemic started and it only has gotten worse for them. Pre covid some releases were only pushed back 1 or 2 months and some releases would just disappear lol, Now its a lot worse. Would make sense to switch to in house in order to make sure stuff just makes it at all lol, not counting the price increases.

May be for the best lol. AMG has a pretty ...................... impressive record so far. Armada was done pretty dirty lol. And everyone should take notes from what happened to Xwing as a guide on how to pretty much destroy a fanbase in a week. Jumping to GW has been night and day...........................Also helps that I got into LRL first and they are getting some new stuff again so soon lol.

I came from the Star Wars mini games (Xwing, Legion, and Armada) and the pandemic hit them pretty bad as well. They still suffer from delays for half a year or longer. They went from having releases to every month to only twice a year. The shock my group had when stuff for Sigmar came out on time lol!

Sweet new LRL rules! Only got two archers so it should be interesting to see how many points they go down. May need to get more cows and I hope they buff swordsmen!!! Sort of stopped all buying until I see the changes and I love my LRL I really want to know what the new hero is! Get HYPE!

Did we get any more info on the Lumineth Realm Lords solo or book?

The Dawnbringer was also billed as a huge muti year event so I could see several factions getting pulled into the event. Also didn't some leaks somewhere talk about Cities getting a warband or something soonish? May give us a hint into what the new stuff may look like for humans.
