  1. What was the last set of endless spells and faction terrain released? Kinds seems like faction terrain was a bit of an experiment that may not keep going. I'd definitely take more generic terrain though, please. Or bring some of the mia kits back.
  2. Im hoping for more than just points decrease so kruleboyz do not just become s spam,/horde army. 🤞 "Kunnin and brutal", make it work Geedubs!
  3. Anyone else feel like SoB have kinda stold ogors shtick & thunder as just like the bigger and fatter ugly "humans"? Not a fan of either but that new bloodpelt has peaked my interest in design. And pleeeease be on a 50mm base as this would put him at the perfect size.
  4. Id much rather see existing armies get polished and model design up to date (looking at ogors and spiderfang gits) before we get a new army that just causes further delays to this. Then drop the shiny new bombs!!!
  5. They did right by nighthaunt eventually. i think kruleboyz can be polished and tweaked. One thing that really bothers me is when a model doesn't reflect its stats, Boltboyz have quite a bit of armor on but you're telling me they have the same save as a tiny grot in a robe?... O_o At the very least give gutrippaz -1 rend while you're at it.
  6. I just ordered a bunch of these Necromunda Ogryn heads as I think these are THE best ogor head designs I've yet to see. Perfect blend of monster and man. My question is this, anyone have an exact size reference to current ogor heads? Ive looked up a few pics and they seem to be slightly smaller than gluttons, etc, but slightly bigger than the coming bloodpelt hunter (if he is indeed on a 40mm. 🤞 for a 50mm) Appreciate any feedback.
  7. Super excited to see the changes!!!🤞 Why are there two kruleboyz threads?... oi...
  8. How often is battlescroll released? Can't wait for an update for the kruleboyz!!
  9. Concerning fyreslayers and also coming from an outsiders perspective (destro & death here) would a "redo" help like how the stormcast recently had their overhaul? It helped them and made it so both male and female were represented.
  10. Oh snappiest of the snaps, got a whitefang like!! Heard that means a bit a something round these parts. Or, they just liked what I had to say. 😒 😄 El Comillo Blanco strikes again...
  11. @JackStreicher To be fair its a cool and thematic ruleset. It could definitely use an ambush /some other cool mechanic layer though. ThEy ArE amAZeZiNg anD I TotES AdOrb My LiL BOg NiNJaS! 😝
  12. Obr is such an aesthetic failure for me. The idea behind it is soo cool though. Theres bits and pieces of their design that are excellent like that big fella from their Underworlds band. THAT thing screams ages old, elite of the elite bone soldier construct to a death god filled with many souls of warriors past. THAT should of been the mortek guard. If their direction had been that, a low larger model elite force I'd of been all over them but instead they dropped teensy weensy joker faced Saturday morning cartoon villain models. O_o All subjective of course but I think they were done very wrong. But yes, a DR vs OBR kerfluffle would be epic! Bone on bone bloodsh...er marrow 🤔 shed!! I think a nighthaunt vs deathrattle battlebox with new hexs and Black knights and a new Deathrattle hero would be spectacular!!!!
  13. I'd appreciate a deathrattle expansion. Their little bit of loreis cool. Like how they have their own little kingdoms and do not like nighthaunt. A little inner alliance conflict and animosity helps give bones to a setting. Like iirc kruleboyz dont like SoB. Id like a new grave guard kit with three options, sword and board, great weapon and ranged. They're the elite of deathrattle. A New black knight with a ranged option would also be cool imo. Pertaing to the new Grave guard Underworlds kit, i wonder if the big fella is an ogor body guard. If so thats cool to see them sprinkled in like that across death. Keep the fantastical with obr but keep the classics with deathrattle. 🤞
  14. Looks awesome!! Ive been messing with snow products lately and AK Interactive has the best imo so far. I just use it straight from the pot, building up in layers and smoothing down lightly with water. GWs is on point as well but too expensive if you need a lot.
  15. @KingBrodd A lot of humans passed today. Its a common thing amongst our species.
  16. Oh and dont forget you cant even ally in other models in their own book without going big waaagh... O_o
  17. @Jetlife Some pretty good points made. The comparison from new to resculpt also needs to be viewed in the long run. Perhaps a new clanrats kit wont sell as well initially as per your valid point but in 5 years or 10 years time new blood will come and they'll want to have a clanrat mob of their own. As per resculpts the way they're doing it with killteam is promising. The new kroot kit is awesome!! It has tons of options including enough to "replace" the current kroot carnivores kit. I just ordered two from bits and kits. This not only gives insentive to replace but options to play across multiple games. Im hoping to see this same formula applied to warcry. As an example Im a destro / death fan so for me if we saw a "new" spider riders kit with new build options and existing ones to replace the current kit this just seems like a fantastic bizznezz model. It draws in new fans for a new game line and draws in old collectors because of new options and updated sculpts that can again be played across multiple game systems. another example would be a grave guard warcry kit. A ten model band of elite skellies with multiple build options. I'd love some range support in there so maybe classic sword and board, crossbows, and great weapons. Again incentive to buy for old and new alike. GW has got to also be aware of and planning something to be able to do combat in the swiftly improving 3d print arena. No idea what they're doing there. And the rules, books, etc are changing fast as well. Games like Frostgrave and One Page Rules (you can combine foot heros to units and I absolutely love it) have really started picking up the interest of gamers. Albeit I use GW minis. Free rules! Simple rules! And updated often! I believe this to be the future. Bring on some cool "new" resculpted kits across these older beloved factions! Hell, I've never been into ogors as the kits just never did it for me. Beastclaw comes close but still a bit too cartoony imo but I adore the new bloodpelt hunter. If we get a new range of ogeees like THAT, im sold! One new model, ONE, was all it took for them to get an existing customer to jump on board a new army of minis. Except those "new" models are no where in site and I won't be picking up old kits untill I see the rest of or a good chunk brought to that level. This could easily be done with this new killteam/warcry style of releases. Chaos has their fans but when you start to hear even some of them say "ehhh, ease up on the cultists" then maybe its time to listen. I do however really think these last few years have messed them up pretty good. Im certain there is tons of things that were supposed to have been released by now. Id even go as far to say Dawnbringers are actually done if not in the 95% range. @EccentricCircle You may be right about that as well but like any company they probably have plenty of those secret look at these and tell us whatcha think consumer meeting things. Whew!! Long text is long. Ha!
  18. Upon deeper research i found this. I thought as much. Still want to know the friggin base size!!!
  19. Thoughts on Bloodpelt Hunter base size? Ive done scaling against other pics and seems to be a 40mm. I'd love him on a 50mm like the tyrant but that makes the model taller than a tyrant. It does however seem to be a newer design as in proportions, etc. I really dig this new look and he'll be my first ogor purchase as the older style kits just dont quite do it for me. Beastclaw are nice but still a touch too cartoony. I've even been messing around in sketchbook with a slightly tweaked color scheme to make him appear even less "human". Ogors used to be grey in the old world as well, yeah?
  20. Said it before but those marauder lightly armored horses are some of my fav ever. The riders... eh..
  21. Its a fun build!! Haven't painted yet though. Pro tip, sub assemble the two stair sides and top, the whole column area, and the fancy gearworks. It'll make your painting much easier!!
