Loonshrine is 0 points I don't think mollog unlocks battle line troggs (I'm almost certain of it), but the mollog model can pretty easily be a troggboss. You won't go wrong with a box or two of rockguts or fellwaters.

I've started a 1k list just now: it's not all troggs though, and not really optimized for anything; just models I liked. Troggboss Arachnarok with shaman Rockgutsx3 Rockgutsx3 Sloggoth ally You will want a troggboss and rockguts, that's for sure. You will also want fellwaters at some point, and the sloggoth. Sloggoth +1 to hit with troggboss CA has troggs hitting on 2s rerolling 1s. I'm personally making 6 rockguts per kit with greenstuff legs and guts. So if you want to not get doubles from the secret Santa I'd go for either rockguts or fellwaters, since you wont want two dankholds or sloggoths yet.

Hmmm. The runesmiter on droth is looking interesting as a priest hero monster wizard. With a priest command trait could be the way to get curse off on key targets.

I have never played a game of AoS but am thinking of starting. What do people think of using the curse prayer to fish for mortals with vulkite berserkers with two axes? Seems like it might be good. Also; if going for multiple magmadroths is a runefather worth it worth it vs an additional runeson? I'm thinking 3 SC boxes with father on foot, 2 runeson droths and a smiter droth.

So based on white fang reacts it seems like there will be new models for Ironjawz and Fyreslayers per se, as well as the continued souping of warclans and Duardin featuring new models for the soup. It seems increasingly unlikely that we are only getting new factions with no new model to the souped components.

I guess we wait to see if ironjawz get anything. They don't have it as bad as Fyreslayers but a dual kit for a megaboss on chariot/ javelin chariot would be swell. For Fyreslayers a kit that makes minidroth riders/feral minidroths as cavalry/beastial artillery would be swell.

I'm thinking about starting the game and looking at Fyreslayers. Figure I'm gonna have to buy a lot of the same thing no matter what.

One thing it would do is punish blobbing by making many endless spells dramatically scarier: many of them target units and not models.

I've seen some rumours that point costs are going up across the board: does anyone know if this has been hinted at or substantiated in any way?
