  1. How to give me a heart attack Also, I'm curious if the current kit will stay, or maybe we are getting a redone Steam Tank?
  2. This new one "remixes all four episodes of the awesome audio drama into a single full-length novel for the first time", so it seems like it's rewritten in novel form instead of just being the script.
  3. I know the chances of the Steam Tank staying are pretty low, but would you consider: I really hope the Steam Tank: A: Just stays B: Gets updated (new kit/upgrade frame)
  4. I really hope we see these fully revealed soon. Honestly expecting these either for Dawnbringer II or III, depending on how the narrative goes, as it seems Harbringers will be set before the Crusade itself begins. If we get the Twin Crusades setting off in book II, I could see us getting these in kit form for book III, to represent the "one will fall, one will rise" settlements having been founded. On the scenery itself, my only gripe (now that we have some more good quality pics) is that the rooftops feel a bit plain. These rooftop balconies are better for gameplay, but visually there's something that's not quite perfect to me (a dome/A frame roof option would have been really cool, but I guess there's the Gondor Manor for that). I'm also interested in how cross-compatible these will be with the current "under construction" variants to maybe make some multi-level construction sites. I'm also weirdly warming up to this scenery fitting in with the new Cities minis. They complement each other pretty nicely imho, with the gritty yet still "civilized"/refined equipment of the troops protecting these pristine white structures.
  5. Ohhh, more unreasonable prediction time! AOS : At least one Cities unit/character, hoping for 2-3, maybe enough for launch box (like Seraphon) if it's coming in August? Dawnbringers Book II : Big Pig, maybe 'Ardboyz/more Ironjawz focused to go with Big Pig? WHU : Nurgle or Slaanesh warband. Some less Blightking-y/visually different Nurgle would be nice Warcry: New Starter Set (the leaked one). Teaser trailer for next season (going inside the Temple-Ship)? TOW : A single character. Resin, or plastic if it's for the launch set. Probably Liche Priest if I had to bet. HH : Knight alternate kit leaked like a month ago, teaser for new faction coming in Winter/Mark III Marines teased last Preview?
  6. Cities? Cities??? THIS WEEK????? (And Destruction!)
  7. https://www.warhammer-community.com/2023/06/26/battle-for-oghram-submit-your-results-and-decide-the-fate-of-a-planet/ However you play your game, you should log the results by using the flyer in your box. The winning side will be enshrined in Warhammer 40,000 lore forever – and they’ll get to see all of their upcoming miniatures early in an article on the 15th of July, the same day we announce the winners. 40K Campaign reveals not going to be a Preview. Perhaps there's still hope for the Cities box in the Summer if we get a more general one in July? We are supposed to get the announcement for the next show this week. Skirmish is more likely imho, but maybe it's just generally "AoS beast realm stuff" with Warcry, Underworlds, and main game (with some Kill Team/HH Epic)?
  8. The excel spreadsheet also lists Harbringers' weight at around 0,59 kg, which is around the same as Arks of Omen Abaddon, meaning that the book will most likely have around 90 pages. Nice to hear that it's cheaper than AoO, might actually collect these, especially with LFGS discounts.
  9. Everything getting cut wouldn't be so bad if we were to get replacements 😛 And regarding the recent Witch Hunters, I fully believe they were designed with the refresh in mind/as part of it. Apart from that, everything's fair game imho to be gone.
  10. I know there's no chance for it this preview, but I would really appreciate them showing more than 1 CoS unit at once. Or just have more than 1 article a month
  11. I hold some hope that it isn't 100% 40k, although historically these post-launch shows have been mostly just monogame focused.
  12. While I agree that the recent Witch Hunters will probably 100% be staying, using "appearance in articles" as evidence for that is pretty iffy imho, considering they also mentioned Steam Tanks in the religious iconography one. I am being purely objective right now and am in no way trying to not get my hopes up that Steam Tanks may stay in the Battletome/ in production, thus souring my opinion of the refresh when it finally releases mid-August to late-September.
  13. I'd really love if they really went into that Aqshy duardin aspect more in the way they've done for Idoneth with more fire lizards/fire magic, and/or keep their current lore but add something like: "ur-gold concentrations have reached a point where Grimnir can do stuff" and have some more overtly religious fanatic units that finally stand out from all the current half-naked axe guys (I know every Fyreslayer worships Grimnir via combat, but imho Fyreslayers really need some visually different units). And maybe finally some female duardin would be nice. And in terms of defending the world from things crawling out of the mountains, they still kinda fulfill that purpose a little. Apart from Skaven and Gloomspite Gitz they are really the only faction with major underground presence (Kharadron being up in the sky, and Dispossessed just vibing in Cities and maybe reclaiming a hold when they feel like it).
  14. As someone teetering on the edge of falling into starting a GSG army, I would absolutely love something like this.
  15. Considering that we got City colour Dispossessed and Aelves for the 2019 BT, I would expect them to do the same for the new one (even more so that this isn't just a temporary BT to hold leftovers for the length of the Edition.) I just hope they finally update the leftover old square base pictures on the webstore/have everything in a coherent scheme. And also, the Ironbreaker shield would look amazing with black metal.
  16. I think Harbringers would be pretty likely. We are getting the third short story tomorrow, and the final(?) one for the first book next week (if we are going off the 4 Harbringers from the book). Other than that it's mostly just specialist games stuff that's left and the General's Handbook iirc. Summer's looking pretty quiet apart from Leviathan. Really hope we get a Preview event in July.
  17. Wasn't expecting an actual lore explanation for the change in structure/naming and visuals (although AoS writers have been generally pretty good at actually making these things coherent so far). I wonder if this is more of a "Kragnos really riled up those Destruction gitz and now our troops are dying even more often than before!" or more of a "Yeah those puffy uniforms just weren't doing it even back then in the Realmgate Wars, thank Sigmar we have an actually competent reformer here" change?
  18. Hadn't really thought about us getting a miniature of this one, but thinking about it... Scalewise I think the smaller one up front could work, and we could have a nice bit of steam tech representation with it. Imho I still think a metalith/horse/devoted pulled altar is still more likely, but I'd really love a mini of this.
  19. Like how we had Seraphon in April when they were a Summer release. Personally, I'm expecting an army set anywhere from early-mid August to mid September. If they decide to quicken their reveals, that is 😛 Maybe big Cities stuff at the (presumably existant) July previews?
  20. Even that would be better than just purely humans imho. And yeah, pfp's an aelf in Freeguild uniform. Kinda ironic considering I like Dispossessed more than every other Cities subfaction (maybe barring Freeguild). Not much art of female duardin though 😛
  21. So, I've been thinking about the new CoS ogor I feel this mini alone basically confirms (at least to some degree) that Cities will stay a multi-race army. Even if we only have Dispossessed and some aelves staying apart from this, I don't see us getting a "100% human" faction identity even in the long term. Heck, after this new mini I wouldn't even be surprised to see a duardin or two among the new blackpowder kits, or an aelf in the Freeguild Guard kit!
