Why, how, what did I miss apart from the rumor engine image? (Probably new Warlocks)
Whitefang hinted it was connected to Morai Heg and might not be Warcry and/or DoK related, so we've been imagining what that might mean

Hmm interesting - a Daughters of Khaine Warcry faction who don't follow Morathi? "Crone Heralds"?

While i like your thinking, @Chikout is definitely correct about the kroot pictures.
- The skeletal birdfoot here has more chance of being with Ossiarch or FEC
- the Spider "skull" has been likened to the gloomspite gitz one, so a Chaos one would surprise me
- the perfume bottle does not look like it fits S2D design language imo, looks far closer to the Arabian Nights Slaanesh Hedonites imo (though that may be my hopium talking)

- the safe... you _might_ be right?
- the last two I'm 90% certain are Astra Militarum related (because of the sandbags and grenades) the latter specifically Ratlings with all the meat pies and bottles

Only three videos are for tomorrow event, the other videos are discarded ones
Soo, _if_ this is true (I'm still not convinced you're not trolling us, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt ) lets speculate about whats up this afternoon:
- sylvaneth are a given
- people have been mentioning the Lady of Ruin and Scylla Anfingrim (perhaps time for a new or updated unit for the Khornate troops too?)
So that's three factions with models so three videos.
But you were also hinting at 4th faction - could that be an army of Renown? I suppose Stormcast could do with a bit of narrative focus without extra models so that's a possibility...
-
Perhaps a poor translation for "boltthrower"? Though I think your explanation is more likely

My guess is Skaven won't get anything, as they're likely to be the focus of 4th ed but otherwise I could see any faction getting updates.
I'd actually say that makes them more likely to get something - necrons had a new character at the tail end of 8th, destruction had a new character at the tail end of 2nd... OK I suppose tyranids didn't get anything at the end of 9th, but we could say they're the exception that confirms the rule?

Given that rumors mention an overhaul of the Skaven range and a potential introduction into the shadow realm, is this enough to say that Malerion and his Aelves may release late 3rd edition or perhaps current of 4th edition or are we crossing our fingers too much on this subject ?
I think you personally are crossing your fingers a bit too much, sorry to say. I could be wrong certainly... but for once I hope not - there are enough aelf factions already (for the time being) and there are enough order factions. Let some other GAlliances and races have some time in the spotlight

Ok guys since we've seen the last (39th) model in the 40 years of Warhammer countdown today, next Wednesday we are getting a reveal of an iconic model of WHFB/TOW spearheading the big Warhammer Day reveal three days later. I think a new version of The Green Knight or Settra the Imperishable is inbound.
I've also speculated about this possibility, but there's nothing certain about it unless you have better info than me?
Have to be honest, Green Knight and Settra would both feel like a letdown to me, as they would be for a super niche revival of a defunct game. IMO, the only kind of models that could attempt to celebrate warhammer in its entirety would be something Chaos, as it is present in all 3(4 if you count HH) Of the settings we know and love - perhaps an alternate sculpt for Belakor, or a foot version of Archaon, or Harry the Hammer with options to make him into a 40k character, or a random daemon thing...

Lol no way that is a Tau weapon with the caste symbols on it.............Can it?
See, I'm not sure it's a weapon, looks more like a ceremonial thingy to me.
Also, it doesn't have the ethereal caste symbol (pentagon) and they are hollowed out... make of that symbolism what you will 😅

Going back to the initial question, something I thing would be a fun experiment for new editions or end of edition campaigns would be to see some factions change grand alliance, like how the dark elves and high elves joined together in the end times, or it looked like the Daughters of Khaine were turning against the forces of Order for a second.
While it may partially invalidate some people's armies (if they rely on niche ally rules which seem to change every edition) I think the narrative possibilities are intriguing, and it also might push people to try out armies they wouldn't have in their original Grand Alliance (ie, more potential money for GW )
imagine for a second that Morathi did actually move to the Chaos Grand Alliance with the return of Malerion; or the Idoneth moving to Grand Alliance Death in order to improve their soul tithe (or whatever its called). Perhaps Katakros gets a particularly interesting job offer from Grungni and they form the G&K Megacorp Grand Alliance?

Just a bit of speculation here but GWs miniature lead times are counted in years so whatever is in the 4th edition starter it will likely have started around when 3rd edition launched.
After the first two edition they obviously didn't choose to abandon Stormcast but instead choose the angle of redesigning them with the Thunderstrike armour and there is no way they changed their opinion on that stance in the small timespace until they would have started designing the 4th edition starter factions.
So I really don't think we will see something else except Stormcast until 5th at the earliest.
On the other hand, they could also attempt a third completely new armour line in parallel to the original armour and thunderstrike, a bit like how space marines have "tacticus", "phobos", "gravis" and "omnis" sub-patterns to their armour.
If for example they want to open one of the new chambers (let's say ruination for example) perhaps they'll want to design new armour that fits its theme (for example, if its a siege-themed chamber, we might see more of the heavier style armour like Annihilators, in conjunction with an even lighter scale mail armour for infiltration troops)

Looks like a birds skeletal foot to me, so perhaps something to do with ossiarchs/morghast? Perhaps a pet for a morghast warcry warband?

Isn't warhammer having some sort of games cycles? Yesterday I read that we should be happy with the current AoS development compared with last's year one, but I always felt AoS and 40k have some sort of cycles. When one is down the other is up, so I trust in AoS for this warhammer day seing it seems to be AoS focus time.
40kExpandedUniverse is also expecting a new Kill Team season that's been teased for a good 4 months (the rumoured scorpions vs sm scouts probably) which is slated to release in autumn but hasnt been revealed yet

I wouldn't really consider the contents of the Army Set "range feeling complete from day one" in terms of a full army.
The status quo they're talking about isn't the size of the range and number of models, they're talking about the aesthetics and heraldry of the cities, which _have_ been established by the army set (including BT and transfers)
Obviously I'd be overjoyed for there to be a second wave coming in the next 18 months (which isn't unlikely considering recent past releases), but I wouldn't read too much into a passing sentence in an interview about the artistic design of the faction

Because Warhammer+ models are for AoS and 40k.
Well you say that, but the Khorne lord isn't usable by its parent faction...
However I also think the pegasus is too large a model to be for a War+ model
