  1. The Skull altar is less usefull in many maps our territory is too small so putting a bloodsecrator is good for defense but you won't score points in defense now
  2. yeah but none of this will grant us Victory Points according to the GHB.

Yeah we have no easy build like soulblight grave lord battletome where everything synergise well .. but we have a rather old battletome and maybe when ours is updated we will be able to less torture our head. Right now i'm using a medium battleline force with mortals and skullreapers and a few medium monsters. I think my list is able to do some damage and my grand strategy will be preserve the battleline. So that the enemy will focus my battleline and i will be free to gain VP with my monsters or they focus my monsters and i will be winning my grand strategy. I was winning with mortal list because of the scenarios by getting objectives and keep thoses for the match but now the scenario itself won't suffise so we need an army with mobility, monsters and lethality and i think mortals are not here. Maybe using BoC but they don't have my khorne way of life (too fragile) and i don't want to spam flying chickens. Khorne has always been not easy to master(don't fail your bubbles) but we are always able to make the opponent strugle. It has become harder now and i'm a bit frustrated but we need to wait for battletome and hope it won't transform into a summon army like slaanesh ! But with new battletome our slaughterhost and prayers/judgements will be more calibrated again i hope ! Here's my list i will test his evening. Let's see what's it worth ! And i will test this list after because our bloodthirsters are more usefull than before :
  4. what do you mean by board control ? models can go trought invocations now
  5. When you take account of the utility of the judgements, their cost, and the importance of only one prayer a turn. The fact that the skulls only utility now are -2 to cast .. but they cost 60 points ! There are usefull prayers that are free. The fact that Hexgorger skulls don't reduce hits, 2 mortal wounds average + 1/6 chance of fail to do more .. for 85 points !! I'll pass on that again. We don't have the luxury to launch our judgement turn one and wait for the melee to happen chanting blood blessings because the map is smaller and we need the blessings as soon as possible. Bleeding icon ... is bravery bomb a thing in khorne ? 50 points and a prayer slot .. no thanks. But i feel maybe i'm just negative and i'm sorry for that. I loved my old priest and i would have said ok to one prayer/blessing + one judgement
  6. Read again the FAQ warscrolls about our jugements. They are uterly sh*t now.
  7. hey !! that was my list !! .. pff i had 30 bloodwarriors too with the horde reduction but now my list sucks and no rend reduction. I'm rushing to paint bloodthirsters, sould grinders and slaughterbrute
  8. at least we won't have to question ourselve about taking jugements anymore 😛 we won't
  9. the hexgorgers skull will disapear at the first natural 8 of the enemi and it only happen at 8" now don't think they are still usefull
  10. FAQed : ‘Add 1 to the Attacks characteristic of melee weapons used by Khorne units that are wholly within 8" of any units with this ability. This ability has no effect on Wrathmongers.’ anyway the FAQs are up and there is some real effect change : bleeding icon only bravery bomb, hexgorger skull pop off after a natural 8 and wrath axe more logical damages. The blood boil is only for visibles targets and they shoot off the rule to chant blessings at the start of hero phase so now only one prayer/judgement per priest. and other minor changes.
  11. yeah so i asked the play tester in the article and i'ts one prayer per phase yeah ^^ i wasn't objective at all i know

  14. the real use of it is the aura of bloodsecrator 16' from any part of the skull altar ! we can add an aspiring deathbringer too

  16. ok, so wrathmongers can buff ranged attack (maybe FAQ incomming), priest can chant blessings at start of hero phase and prayers during hero phase, and juggement follow the other invocation rules : only priests can dispell it and they stay at the end of round. We don't know if we have to choose between prayers and invocation. And we can take BoC units to add a few versatility to the army !
  17. I don't like the model but he's like a faster khorgorath with different abilities. Could be fun with korghos khul to p*ss off of enemy use of unleash hell.

When i read again : the blood blessings are to be chanted at the start of hero phase(in the tooltip of each blood blessing) and the regular prayers of the new core rules are to be chanted during the hero phase. In my subjective head it sounds like we can still do both with our slaughterpriest can't we ?
  19. For myself i'm going to try the Soul Grinder, he may force the enemy to look after him and leave my skarbrand operating freely.
  20. you can send chaos chariots buffed by bloodstocker in the enemy camp to force unleash from hell on them. They are cheap but they could die soon after, providing a blood tithe and they could have inflicted some mortal wounds on the charge
  21. well chaos spawn are not very reliant to charge first ^^. But they make good blood sacrifice
  22. you can sell the mini after a year to refund the sub
