What do people reckon will be shown on New Years?

I hope the old world pleases people when it’s out, I’ve looked into it and I like old world lore but I personally can’t imagine playing it, I’m not too keen on resin and I like how interesting AOS is with races.

So my New Years resolution is to finish painting my army of necrons, over half way done. Then go paint my IDK army. No real theme except going for water effect bases. I also have a large army of OBR I want to build and paint with either a null myriad theme or a traditional samurai look. Either way I’m going for a zen garden and cherry blossom landscape with a gold repair style katakros. I also have a few bits of SCE I want to build and paint with a dark steel and teal cloth look, not too finalised on that yet. Finally I have some Sylvaneth bits too which is far down the backlog. I’m likely going to be adding and adding more than I can keep up with but oh well. If they don’t release any new bits for existing armies I have or dark elves then I’m unlikely to start anymore new armies. hope everyone had a good Xmas!!

Nothing I’ll be picking up however the new slanesh models do look good, I like the new steeds. Not my cuppa tea though. Looking for that long awaited seraphon revamp

I think Necrons had a consistent amount of best models this year all are pretty awesome. When are the flayed ones coming though!!!!

They need new dryads. Other units are still holding up fine. They need more units for sure though.

The things I’d like to see before anything else are: Necron style revamp to Seraphon, Skaven, Sylvaneth, other armies based on old world models. Umbraneth Vampires Dwarfs that aren’t steampunk or ginger Mohawks More units to smaller factions BUG PEOPLE

Where exactly are they bein referenced? If it’s in general AOS it’s possible it’s a new race

Do you think this is a new race for AOS as a whole or just underworlds?

Yeah I’m not a chaos person but I would be if tzeentch was more something cooler? More recognisable like khorne is standard demon, nurgle is mutated people and disease. The rest just seem not bad but as you say not recognisable.

Slanesh and tzeench stuff confuses me, like Nurgle is fairly easy to understand the looks it’s mainly pustules and disease with flys and such. Khorne is just bloody more traditional Demons, a bit Diablo looking. But slaanesh being crab claws and cows confuses me you’d think maybe snakes would make more sense idk. Tzeench is just caw

I only thought seraphon as they have orbs with spikes on. It’s doesn’t awfully represent anything I’ve seen completely but maybe a Kroxigor for the Underworlds models? With a sun maul thing?

Does anyone know if it matters where I get the collectible coins from to get the folio? I am getting two with my Xmas presents from my parents but they have a different store. Not sure if my local with accept it

So this is my OBR army so fair, it’s mainly a big painting project first. I’m stockpiling it until Christmas as my family are getting me Katakros, Nagash, and another set of Necropolis Stalkers. I am also waiting on a second box of guard. Is this enough? What else do I need?

I don’t have £120 to spend this month for mainly a couple coins as I’ve got a lot of backlog, was hoping to pick one up on eBay for £10 max but people are trying to sell them for £49.99 ish it’s ridiculous I’d get models if I wanted them that bad

I’d love to collect seraphon as the big models hold up well I’d say from what I’ve seen. But damn the warriors and cavalry and heroes need a Necron style refresh. I hope that AOS gets done of that love it just seems to be countless new armies

So I’m planning on getting and painting katakros later on in a few months or so but I’m still struggling to find a scheme I like. I was thinking the null myriad scheme as I like the black bone and purple. I’m think with katakros though if all the army are black he’s be white bone but as they are samurai themed i was going to do gold in all the cracks and such to resemble Japanese gold repair pottery. What do people think? Can anyone help me with the colour scheme, I want to go traditional Japanese with the bases so green grass, rivers, blossoms etc.
