  1. i posted in rules to asking,the faq that my club says that cancel ward is this.
  2. hnnn i live in a urban area,a sixth floor,no smokers and in spain,so its pretty hot(even 35 grades in summer). i never stored my warhammer miniatures im display and only keep them in plastic boxes,but my friend got a detolf and only gluing a band of foam in the edge of the door was enougth to evade dust or that he told me,so curious if this kallax was enougth or was needed use the same trick with the foam band. but thank you for the info,i gonna keep it for when i can get a room for my display and see if i can buy it because i havent ikea here where i live
  3. are you sure about the ward of hbg? in my club and evey online game that i see they say that you cant use the ward of hgb with the bodyguard. because the fyreslayer book is older than the faq that state that wounds made by bodyguards rule cant be saved by war and so the faq cancel our book. you can tell me where say that our hgb ward can be used even if the faq state that no? i would like know it to show it to the people that argue that faq goes before our rules because it is more new
  4. nop is in fact better the black guards than hgb bodyguard rule. hgb rules: runefather get a wound and with 4+ the wound is negated and hgb get 1 wound done sorceres(ward 4 due to black guard) get a wound and with a 4+ the wound is negated and nobody get a wound. again diferent books,but black guards for 20 less points have same damage and tankines than hgb,more move,better charge,better bodyguard rule etc
  5. i would preffer easier,many new players leave the game after the first game. have to remember each phase when get cp or not,remember the cp,remember the hero actions,remember the monsters actions,think about the battle tactics from general and also in the battletome etc they say and with reason that they need more time reading rules that playing the game. to me second edition or even late first was the best. i would be happy if they remove the cp system,is tedious have to remember when get cp and when not,also have to use tools to know how many we have,also the cp are umbalanced and do harder to balance armys,redeploy is a many time lost doing longer the games,defensive fire is somethimg broken that dont must stay,rally was oberpower get free models but was nerfed so hard that rigth now is almost useless,the all out attack make armys with heroes or skill to give hit obsolete and the same with all out defense. in general the game would be faster,easier and more balanced without the cp sistem. also remove every battle tactics from each battletome,first is the biggest factor of umbalance betwen armys rigth now(per example sc have the worst tactics and they are at the botton while vampires have the best and they are top) and second take time have to read tactcs from two diferent books at the same time. remove every wholy withing aura and only put a rule that these heroes can join to a unit and give them that buff. i know many people love hard,or tedious games,but i left 40k and i started aos at 0.0 because was very fun and got extress out,only get to melle and figth without have to think each turn and each phase about 999999 options
  6. the problem with castellite battallion is that need bring the ogre that is useless and the canon that is very bad also. the irondrakes if come with living city do only 1 shoot so they continue being umplayables,nothing can save irondrakes if they dont rewritte the scroll or cost 110. also why bring melle units with living city at charge 9" when elfs move 9"(6+3" order) so they gonna be at 9" charge turn one without deep strike. if you want do two presure points i would say the best option is one with the 30 fusilers and buffs and the other with one unit of melles(hammerers,executioners,corsairs combo etc)
  7. some very important for me is the dust,this kallax is dustproof the inside? i dont want dust on my miniatures but also i dont wanna clean dust of 500+ models weekly
  8. lol im so jealous, i need 4 hours only to build one of these foot infantry and then 13+ hours to paint one. due to this my pyle of shame is huge(2k citys,4k vampires,1k fyreslayers,1k stormcast) and i only have painted a 10% of my models. lately i try only buy boxes with disscount and that gonna be discounted as this anvilgard sc,or battleforces or army vs army boxes but even then my pyle of shame grow faster than my built miniatures lol
  9. dude you are who is hard to read and have 0 idea about math and units. so the fyreslayers have acess to only a prayer of +1 wound and that is all,after have many one time per game buffs that are useless doing a comparation of units with one buff of only one time when they have other 4 turns without that buff. lets compare your genious statement of black guards dont get acess to 20 % of the buffs of hgb; hgb buffs: -+1 wound prayer - a -1 to be wounded and that is all, then have many one time per game that are useless 4/5 of the turns black guard: -allways attack first when charge -move extra 3" -can charge in enemy turn and get +1 rend -can disengage and them charge -a spell to ignore save of enemy unit -mystic shield that hgb cant because dont have mage so hgb can get one ofensive buff and one defensive buff while black guard get 6 buffs...........so hgb are who dont get 20% of the buffs of the black guards that is the oposite to your statement. btw now that is obvious that you dont have idea i gonna only put you on ignore and so both can be more happy
  10. hnnn i would say that i hope that you have taken in mind the option that they gonna be deleted with next book and only usefull for old world? i got the dark elfs acepting this fact. also i get you feeling,i am a ultramega slow builder(i spend around 4 hours only to build one single miniature as one hammerer or one acourge private and i need as one week to build one monster).in fact my cities of sigmar army started as a dispossesed army in aos 0.0 6 years ago and i havent finished it yet
  11. dude i gonna stop answer you because if you dont know maths or mathammer is stupid continue this disscusion. in mathammer chaos warrior are better than hgb unbufed boths or buffed both,also chaos buffs(khorne,nurgle etc) are also better than our useless runes that only have two usefull while chaos is for entire game. i got in count the chaos mark because is a pasive in entire game and i didnt counter any rune because they are only one turn in entire game so its nonsense do a comparation of dwarfs with rune when this only gonna happen 1/5 of the games. also gw data is allways wrong,as every web that get data knows,gw get every single data,even only friendly one game in their store so gw data is useless.and worse even they admit that this data isnt even only of the new general and have data of old general yet every other web get only data of tournaments with 5 rounds and 20+ players. these webs show fyreslayers at the botton as my pic showed. buy hey,i dont care your opinion,you can think fyreslayers are better than slaves and hgb are better than chaos warriors for all i care lool and that is vs chaos knigths. now vs the mew black guard of citys is a joke: black guard 140:10 w 4s ward4 close to sorcerer same profile damage than hgb, move 6 and +1 to charge hgb 160: 10w 5s ward4 close to hero, move 4 and no music or standard. so.........the same stats,but black guard have +2 move,+1 save,+1 charge...........and cost 20 less 😭😭😭😭 is really a joke how hgb cost 160 when must cost 130
  12. i agree with many points. but i dont want female dwarfs,first the female models of gw are ugly and in 40 years only the sorcerer and dok wytches seems more or less female models(models as yndrasta or the new kimera seems males). second,in aos only dok have female units and i dont see other armys asking for female units of elfs or orcs etc i dont get why only fyreslayers players in this forums are allways asking for females fyreslayers when female dwarfs are uglys and i dont want gw never do female dwarfs plz gw if you read this dont think it even. as others said i play fyreslayers so is obvious that i like the models,but after build and paint the first 30 vulkites and 15 hearthguard then is a chore and a boring hell build the others 30 vulkites and 15 hgb(i even have 20 vulkites and 20 hgb in matriz waiting untill i get hyped with a good book and not the ****** of actual book) the army need new diferent models is a fact,the options are monsters,artillery or if we get more foot dwarfs must be some very diferent visual as a full armored dwarf unit. the lore is hard change it because it is done allready,but a lodge around gotrek and forgetting to grimnir would be cool the rules can get many upgrades: -rework the throwing axes or just delete it because they are useless and when kill some model is even bad for us because means a longer charge. some as throw a dice for each model with a axe to a enemy unit in 12" and with 1/5 nothing happens and with 6 is a mortal wound. -rework hgb aura that is too much punishing rigth now and at the same time change the retinue of father and son to: now the retinue rule let us join a father/son to a unit of hgb and this unit get the ward 4 if have a son or father joined in the unit. also change the broadaxe to damage 3 the poleaxe change the damage to 2 and makes mortal with 5 and 6 and not only 6(rigth now hgb with poleaxe cost 160 for 3,3 mortals that is a joke if we compare to actuals scrolls as new executioners and also broadaxe damage is too much low for 160 also) -rework the vulkites: change it to 1 wound and so we have now elite dwarfs and regular dwarfs(rigth now vulkites are 20 w with save 5 and hgb are 20 w with save 5 that is the same and dont make sense). changed to range 2" both weapons picks doubled the number of attacks obviously the points reduced to around 90/100 -rework the battlesmith to: now gives a ward 6 or +1 ward if the unit have a ward allready(rigth now this effect is useless because dont work with hgb neither when we use the forge) also changed the rally to one unit can use rally in melle and with 4+ -flamekeeper now is a priest -new dawnbringer hero changed to a aura the reroll charges and not only one time per game -magmadroth get a ward 5 and the father version a save 3 -auric hearthguard get doubled his number of shoots or even triple so they stop of being a joke and can be called a real unit -the runes could get changed also,something as orders of city sound cool, something at the start of each turn after see who have priority a fyreslayer hero can give one rune to a unit close,runes can be used multiple times and not only one time per game. with this is less punishing and more fun -gotrek is inside of our book and is a fyreslayer unit,other armys can bring him as ally
  13. i really really would love get heroes inside of units,its so pain in the ass measure and get inside wholy within 9" auras omg and also this would give a use to the combat heroes without buffs
  14. those kallax seems amazing,i never bougth a detolf because it seems that gona bend and go down very easy,but this seems very sturdy. as dustproof is the glass self? i am spanish but seems a bit expensive in €? around 150€ for the furniture + 700€ in glass selfs to complete it if i am not doing bad numbers
  15. -double turn removed(end of games won by luck) -shooting units cost reduced a 30%(they are overcosted now due to the chance of double turn and get two turns of free shooting) -magic phase changed to after move -get objetives changed from numer of models to number of wounds(now monsters and multiwound models dont feel useless) -monster get a increase of 40% in their wounds(not behemats because they have the wounds per points that the others monster must have) -range of melle weapons deleted and changed to attack two ranks in melle -foot heroes with less than 7 wounds can go inside one unit and figth together -the battletactics and strategys from diferents books deleted and everyone only can use the same from the generals(more balanced) -mortals wounds removed from every army and unit and it is only some special as from magic or breaths of monsters -free sumons deleted,bring back models died is ok but only bring units free is umbalanced -can spend some extra points in each unit to upgrade it(style to fantasy,so we can get to 2000 points without do tetris) -removed the penalty for double 1 on spellcastings stoping the hero of cast more spells(its stupid and only a huge penalty to models overcosted as nagash)
  16. mate you arent alone,many many people are angry and dont like this new book. -old book had less subfactions,but each one had great skills,passives and were so diferent that each city felt as a diferent army with diferent playstyle while the new book havent alegiance and the cities are almost a 0 with useless stats or habilitys and each city have the same playstyle -old book was also great mixing races,with battlemages or sorceres buffing dwarfs,or hurricanum to every race etc while new book feel and it is as 3 diferent armys that cant play together -many old models removed and we got only 4 new no heroes units with a very diferent style that many people that loved old fantasy style dont like this new aos style. -the worst is the feeling that isnt safe buy nothing out of the new humans,so only 12/55 of the units of the book are safe and the others maybe be removed in 2 or 3 years. myself had 4k of citys but i only got removed the wild ryder,i really wanted all the high elfs but i was waiting for a battleforce or box with disscount to buy them but they never got any and so i didnt have any high elf. finnally i accepted all these bad points about the new book and even bougth the anvilgard sc,one box of scourge privates and a sorceress,if they get removed then i can use them in old world that i really i am feeling more hype for it than for aos lately

  18. i think i gonna stick to my core of fussilers combo +pirates combos in every game,then i gonna changing the fillers to give use to every unit in my collection 😀 for fun i want play some game with the black dragon giving back mortals with misses and together drakespawn knights and cavalry also. we dont have acess to any debuff of -hit with ally units?
  19. thats my problem. doing lists i want use many combos but i get to 2k points very fast and i cant use many units that i would like it. -the combos that i name core and i get in every list are: -30 fussilers + metal mage + 10 steelhelms -sorcerer+dreadspears+black ark fleetmaster+20 scourge privates then the rest of the list i try diferent combos but i havent enougth points. i want 3 dwarf units for the tactic,also the comand corp is needed for other tactic,i need some human cavalry for other tactic etc

  22. i dont go to big tournaments,and tournaments and games in my store and club let us big freedom to proxys. i gonna use my 30 irondrakes that are useless with this book as the fusilers.also all umpainted that my store and club dont care. or my wyld ryders gonna use them as the drakespawn knigths. so in general i have all my lists allready builts of my old citys collection,i only need build the metal hero from the box and the unit of 10 stellhelms.

  24. the problem of cavaliers is his range 1" and unit of 5 doing them umplayable and useless in units bigger than msu. and buff a unit msu is allways no eficient and bad,so nobody is speaking about combos with cavaliers. they are great as unit of 5 yes,but dont worth invest points in buff a unit of 5 and is umplayable units of 10 or 15
  25. yup i saw it,its interesting. but the problem is compare combos to(as the author said the most broken and umbalanced combo) blisbarbs archers combo because then every combo seems bad even if it is good due to how broken is slanesh. and even then this autor did it wrong,because in the comparation didnt taken in count the +1 rend of blisbarbs(-1 save enemys)with the cavalry and he is doing 1140 points of fussilers+mage vs 960 of blisbarbs not full buffed. this dude is knows as a hater of cities so every one of his articles is ****** and biased,they are done to lie to who read it as the politicians. other of his articles cry about how broken is the new book because we have a spell to do ignore saves even at ranged.........everyone knows that the spell is only for melle,but is a example of as this dude lie on his articles and worse even you cant reply to his post because they dont admit any post if you point his errors per example in his table fussilers are better than slanesh. but if you compare same points of fusilers to same points of slanesh and take the +1 rend of slanesh then the fussilers vs save 4 makes 55 damage as blisbarbs and that is with every order,2 cp,one warlord trait and every buff posible to cities while slanesh only with one cp and one buff again reading this article is beyond me how blisbarbs dont cost 180/200. i guess happens as goblins,they were bad for a while and then gw overbuff them
