Ishlaen are still a great unit. On the charge their save characteristic goes to 3+. They don’t get +1 to save. Massive difference. They will still get the +1 from the Leviadon or cover if they don’t charge. It’s still a great scroll.

Oof, did the Soulscryer really need to go up? I’m not sure the threat of deep strike is worth it anymore considering the shrunken table size. But my competitive list is now down to one hero. depending on how the new battle plans work in GHB I think this could be very bad, considering the new rules for Heroes in 3.0. Volturnos/King is the only hero worth considering in competitive lists. MAYBE the Eidolon of the Storm will be a little more useful with his aura. Tough spot for us with these points.

How can she “feel worse than before” lol. Her Spear and Antlers statistically do more damage. Sounds like somebody ran a 700 point support piece into your army and expected a different outcome.

Access to the whole spell lore is a game changer for Alarielle. In conjunction with trees being easier to place now as well, a spell like Treesong actual is useful.

Where’s that new Alarielle warscroll? 3.0 is cool and all, but it’s time Alarielle gets the god treatment!!

The new models get an A+ in my book. Very exciting where the narrative is being portrayed as Order pushes into the realms to raise up civilization. I can’t wait to get the full breadth of the rules as well. I’m stoked for what’s next.

Just give us the roadmap to and after 3.0!

I think where Sylvaneth can gain some identity is the ability to be the healing army. And not just recovering lost wounds, the ability to “heal” a wound at full health would increase your wound characteristic. How cool would this be? One of the problems with Sylvaneth healing is that it’s too little too late. Sure I can play Gnarlroot but the free heal on successful cast is essentially worthless as a Treelord/Durthu gets melted by anything on the table.

I’m mostly looking forward to that sweet, sweet IDK warband and updated rules for Sylvaneth.

The Old World, haha. You think the current state of affairs that has affected the release schedule delaying releases maybe 9 months or more hasn’t had any adverse effect on a a new game they said was 3-5 years away before the pandemic, give me a break

It’s 1000% Sylvaneth, and with a large horn looks like. My quarantine army is Sylvaneth and I’ve barely played with them because the army isn’t fun, I have been patiently awaiting a BR treatment for Sylvaneth.

Charge reactions would be interesting, you’d have to consider still being charged after retreating D6” and the charging unit rolls a 7.

I’m dieing to know what’s coming in the next 6 months...

Who cares, I only wish they would just be more open about what’s coming in the next 6 months of the drip fed style of tease after tease.

New LRL rules are nice, thematic and simple. All around win on the Wind temple. Without even seeing the attack profile, the Windchargers are an amazing unit.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the majority of Soulblight is revealed at the time of the Adepticon preview (end of March). And Cursed City becomes available around that time. Doesn’t seem to wild of a thought.

I am so looking forward to Saturday. Despite the current state of the world this hobby has sustained me through the pandemic, I hope it has for you all as well. I am so ready to see Gardus, Lumineth, and Cursed City.

I’m afraid MW’s are one of the armies weaknesses. Watch your ranges and if possible get near a boat.!

With only seven wounds (+2 wounds trait isn’t as good after BR: Morathi because of Leviadon +1 save) you’re really only getting on average 2 wounds saved. I think Armour of the Cythai is nicest right now. I also really like Lord of Storm and Sea. Your King shouldn’t be getting shot, -2 to hit in melee, on a 2+ save from Leviadon, the only way he’s dieing is from magic, haha.

I think in high Allopex builds, Fuethan is nice. I still prefer Dhom Hain though.

Allopex just went up in BR. I’m guessing Morrsarr will go up 10-20 points. No way the Allegiance ability gets touched in the Winter FAQ. The army feels stronger than it did before BR, and bringing Allopex/Leviadon feels good in a competitive game. Ishlaen Guard are the MVP of the army, maybe they go up as well with the Morrsarr. I’d say Allopexes will give Morrsarr a run for their money if Morrsarr go up 20 points.
