hi guys! where in the book does it say that Nagash knows all spells? I checked his warscroll, the allegiance ability page and the lore page but doesn't seem to say anywhere... I use the digital version in the azyr App. thanks!

this was also my experience, when I used the greenstuff world colorshift (I used them on an eidolon armour), I didn't find it necessary to do any further highlights or shading, it just seemed as the effect would be ruined and it looked cool anyways

ok so order top left to bottom rigth: tropical green emerald getaway (I think) mystic gold red goblin (shaman) storm surge green (I think) i might be confusing storm surge green and emerald getaway as it was a while and haven't used them since. i just sprayed this warband to see the effect really. in any case I bought them in a set, not sure they are sold individually (unless u have a local store or smth that carry the range) I believe there are also 2 other sets so there exists more shades of this.

Yeah so I bought the Greenstuff World Chameleon Set 2 which includes: Mystic Gold, Tropical Green, Storm Surge Green, Emerald Getaway, Red Goblin and Martian Green. I havent actually tried to brush them on but when I looked around online the advice generally seemed to be to airbrush them although the company says you can brush them on as well. I would think you probably need to go with a lot of thin layers (probably 5+ coats) if you brush them if you want a good effect so could be a bit time consuming. Through airbrush though it was straight forward to use them. The Martian Green and Red Goblin are the ones I seemed to get the most pronounced color shift effect, for the others it was more a slight "shimmer" or not much effect at all (e.g. Mystic gold just came out as uniform green/gold with no real shifting for me) Attaching some pictures (mobile camera so the quality is pretty poor - maybe a bit helpful anyways..) the eel is done with Martian Green, but the effect is actually much stronger on that than what shows on the picture I would say (I also used a matt varnish on the eel which diminished the effect a bit although didnt kill it). Ofc dont want to discourage! you should try for yourself, main advice though, make sure to have a glossy black to put them on (otherwise they dont work at all). And you can get some really cool effects with these paints, they just need a bit of work Cheers,

I have tried out part of the range, the actual color shift effect varies quite a lot between them, some mainly come out as a single coloured metallic (or maybe I wasn't careful enough using them). u pretty much have to use them through airbrush so either cover the face with some silicone putty when airbrushing or you go back with your light primer after and do the face last I suppose. Also you need a black (preferably glossy) primer for the colorshift paints to work at all (on white they just come out transparent)

does the double movement spell work on allies? 28'' (+charge) flying eel-missile hardly even need the soulscryer to get where u want them...

Guys whats your view on including Idoneth units as allies? Was thinking maybe eels + soulscryer might make sense for some added flexibility to hit back-lines (e.g. catapults)?

was rereading the text on the endless spell with the 2 crystals, as I read it, it seems to suggest that it's only reset to 1 after the spell effect is resolved, does that then mean that if cast is failed or unbound, the crystal keeps its charge and can be used again on same magnitude? this is how I read it, but intuitively I would have thought it to reset to 1 after you activated it to give + to cast. thoughts? (sry if this answer is buried in the 100 pages somewhere... but this endless spell all of a sudden seemed a lot more potent with all pikemen running around and charging it...)

i drilled a hole into the fligthstand (maybe 5mm or so deep) and used a metal pin with super glue (paperclip)

perhaps the intention of GW is to make the armies small to encourage buying of multiple armies? and actually from that perspective maybe its not a problem that a particular army only has one distinct play style as if you want to play in another way you just get another army So if you instead take the view point of playing "aelves" and just view Lumineth as a special case of that, just like Idoneth or DoK you are still good to go. After all most competitive lists don't really see that much variation in units anyways >.< (*cough* morrsarr....)

ye I suppose but currently at 10 warscrolls... its a tiny faction. Would seem quite synergistic to just have a dual kit with the elite infantry, add another generic hero and a warmachine or monster affiliated with one of the other 3 "paths". Such an easy way to basically double the faction and ensure you have space for interesting battallions and some choice in listbuilding etc. I wouldn't be overly surprised if that still turns out to be the case actually but given the now very clear focus on mountain in the WD, this new book etc it does indeed seem like the release is only this faction.. anyways I know this has been covered before..

its more baffling that Stoneguard is not a dual kit with e.g. some sort of swordmasters... would seem like such an obvious thing, different hats, different weapons, done, one more faction aside from Mountain pretty much there...

I made a tidecaster out of Eldrad Ulthran which worked quite well would think his model would be good base for a stone mage too if you'd like

Ye I also noted, I was thinking its because they might have to do with the aetherquartz mechanic and which they don't want to reveal yet or something like that

Anyone got thoughts on how the "Sigil of Yngra" would work? the rules seems to reference "this model" but its a spells so cant be targeted by attacks right? Was thinking maybe its a garrison thing? Seems pretty strong to be able to give something +1 save and -1 hit for incoming attacks.

Bet you that Sweden will open up, we have one of the stores in Stockholm and our country never even went into proper lock-down... i.e. schools etc has stayed open, even restaurants (although with some restrictions and guidelines on number of ppl)...

haha gotya, TBH i havent read all that has been written here although I visit the forum from time to time. Quite recently got into AOS actually by picking up some deepkin (im mainly on the hobby side rather than the gaming side although still enjoy the game as well ofc) and I also quite like these guys so will probably pick up some of them

hmm ye maybe u are right, I actually didn't consider so much the model itself, just took note that we have 3 units named Alarith and that seems to be clearly connected to mountain, we know there are 4 elements and releasing half would make more sense than releasing a quarter and then I just latched on to us so far having one support hero with prefix Scinari so I thought it made sense for that to be one of the other 3. could for sure be zenith, I just thought that maybe closer to Tyrion who I do think will be reserved for a later 2nd release. also we have 2 banner symbols, the yak and the 'Phoenix?' so would kinda make sense there is another piece to this puzzle, again also given all the focus on symmetry being a thing here.. anyways some fun speculation and we will see eventually

I think it makes sense that you don't get an answer because their employees simply don't know what to tell you. there are a few more models I think but those are reserved for the big drum pre release. so they have instructions to not let that leak but also they cant lie to you and say this is all there is. so they are simply stalled and thus don't say anything
