My guess is that LoN will be getting a new battletome soon/next year, and Arkhan and Nagash will know all spells in that tome just like in Bonereapers.
I suggested this earlier:
Fun list idea:
Petrifex Elite
Nagash (880)
3 Immortis Guard (200)
20 Mortek Guard (260)
20 Mortek Guard (260)
20 Mortek Guard (260)
Whatever Endless Spells you want
Nagash saves on 2+, shifts his wounds to his guard, heals his guard, rezzes Morteks for free every turn, blasts enemy heroes with 8 spells a turn, heals himself if he somehow takes a wound, Mortek just take objectives and rez all day.
Might be stupid, but sounds hilariously fun.

I couldn't have summed it up better myself. It's a vicious cycle. I'm a pretty new player, and I picked Stormcast as my first army because I thought they looked sweet. Come to find out, I get flak for taking Shootcast at tourneys because it's "unfun", all while they're running Slaanesh and FEC shenannigans.
Give me a break. Shootcast is literally the only viable tool our army has to fight against these newer degenerate armies in a tournament setting, and it sucks. I wish more of our book was viable for competitive play. I would LOVE to play something other than Shootcast, because honestly, it's pretty boring.
The problem is we literally have only one list/stormhost that is truly top tier. Everything else just gets dumpstered by the newer armies. We pay more points for far less utility. It's just a sad fact.
That actually makes a lot of sense. So Treelord heavy lists, or just bring a couple to help balance? I only own Durthu and a TLA at the moment. I was planning a list with Alarielle as one of the main heavy hitters. What spell is good on her for that sort of matchup? I was leaning towards Verderous Harmony, for rezzing Hunters and such, but maybe Throne of Vines?
My main concern is their stupid Chariots mulching up my battleline before they can even do anything. Those things suck. The Keepers worry me less, as Durthu/Drycha/Alarielle have the power to deal with them.
Hey all, just getting started with Sylvaneth, and I was wondering how you all deal with Slaanesh. They are about a third of my local meta, and on paper, I don't see how we beat them. Anyone have any tips?
