  1. When I started I thought that it was stupid rule. One dice can change the result of the game. But after playing for some time I had to change my opinion. Yes, it is bad that one player stands there and just roll for saves and combat. But there is one thing that you might have forgoten. Player can only have double turn if they went second. This give list building another aspect. Player with many drops can gain advantage in deployment by having information when droping his powerful units but player with fewer drops decide who goes first and who second. Going second means that enemy might have position and point advantage but you have an option for double turn and more importantly enemy cannot have double turn. I have played games where i could have double turns first 2 rounds and never took them so enemy couldnt get back into the game with double turn of theur own. Double turn also means that player going for agresive plays might lose to getting double turned after that so all in plays are worth it only when losing.
  2. List looks good. Just direwolfs are not part of soulblight so they need to be allies. I would personaly use some cheap unit to cover your knights against alfa strikes and to guarantee charges. Either chainrasps or marauders. With fly you can charge over them so I would take advantage of this. With 7 drops, your opponent will usualy decide who goes first and either damage your units from range and then giving you turn where you can only charge small stuff or giving you first turn and you will not be able to charge but moving forvard will probably mean that you will get charged and loose your charge bonuses.
  3. Hello. I need some help with this list. Here is what I have now: Legion of Blood Neferata (overwhelming dread, general) Vampire Lord on Zombie dragon (ethereal amulet, transference) Vampire lord on Zombie dragon (orb of enchantment, pinions) Bloodseeker palanquin (transference) Court of Nulahmia 5 dire wolfs 5 dire wolfs 10 zombies Palisade Malevolent maelstrom 1CP. I am sure that I want to play 2 dragons. If I played only one and added one big block of infantry then Neferata woukd be more important target (ressing would be more powerful) and court wouldnt provide as huge advantage. I feel that it would be better to drop court at that point and play zombie dragon (still -1 to hit with trait) and Vhordrai. I am not sure about the artefacts. I feel that ethereal amulet is almost always worth it but there is an option to go with shadow and always strike first cloak. Also I am not sure if I should run 2+ dispel or having no atacks from powerful hero. Also I can take imunity to shooting. This woukd help especialy if I dont get first turn. Spells are basicaly set. 2*transference is needed in case I lose one. I think I need to keep 3rd command point to have an option to get rerolls to hit on both dragons in first turn and still keep neferatas command ability active. The biggest question are probably battlelines and endless spells. I thought about running 3 units of wolfs but I decided that I want at least one small infantry to get better screen against alfa strike armies. If I go first I can always hide them in the grave and pull them out on point. Palisade is there to against shooting and also to block movement to buy some times for dragons. MM is there mainly because I had 10 points left but one spell less against spell heavy armies can be helpful. There are some options. Chainrasps shoould be better then zombies but I then need to lose palisade. Alternatively I can drop wolfs to take even more chainrasps. That would help with objectives and they can restrict movements more but they will be slower. There might be more options that I missed.   4. Sadly I think this list isnt legal. Lady Olynder is a mortarch so if you play her you need Neferata.
  5. I have a comformation from employe that many old high elfs model are moving to legacy. They will not be available in match play. Order draconis, white lions and eldrich council are gone. They will probably be replaced by new aelf army
  6. Hello guys. I have rough idea for a list but need small help and suggestions from more experianced players here. I have this now: Neferata (OD, general) Vampire on zombie dragon (transference, ethereal amulet) Vampire on zombie dragon (pinions, orb of enchantment) Bloodseeker palanquin (transference) 5 wolfs 5 wolfs 10 zombies Palisade Malevolent maelstrom Court of nulahmia 1 CP. I am not sure about artefacts, spell distribution and the battleline + endless spells. Zombies are there to block turn one charges if oponent is some alfa strike army. Also more bodies for objectives. I can always pull them out of the grave if enemy dont have this tactic. I am wondering if I should drop wolfs for zombies and increse unit size of one zombie unit to 20. I can also drop zombies for chainrasps but then I will need to get rid of the palisade. Or I can take chainrasps for maelstrom and wolfs but then I lose that mobility.... so many decisions Thanks for your suggestions guys
