  1. With the Witch Hunters confirmed it Kragnos, I wonder if Gravelords will have a tie in to BR Kragnos too, being released in parallel or shortly there after? I have to believe there is no way that the Witch Hunters do NOT have anything to do with Gravelords..
  2. As a Chicago transplant living in Texas for the better part of 20 years now, it is nice to see this, lol. Anyways, I'm super curious to see if Kragnos is BoC related or Destruction related. Seems less and less likely to be Kurnothi but still possible I suppose.
  3. Weeeeeell this is disappointing news but understandable given the complications of constantly rolling out new products in the world right now. Hopefully we will have our Gravelords in May! https://www.warhammer-community.com/2021/04/18/our-pre-order-schedules-changing-a-bit-heres-how/
  4. Super disappointing to read, but given everything going on right now I understand the difficulty of constantly rolling out new products.
  5. agreed. I wonder if Be'lakor is in your army and is the general then demons can be included as battleline or something (for StD)
  6. Black Knights currently share a kit with Hexwraiths so I do not think they are getting a new kit.
  7. Yeah GW definitely wouldn't come out with a battletome for an army in under a year (stares at Lumineth). But I do agree, I do not think Seraphon are getting a new book yet. I think Kroak will either be in BR Be'lakor or possibly BR Kroak (if that is a thing).
  8. I'm not sure about the traitor bit. But could the threat Tyrion is fighting be Be'lakor? He is the known as the "Shadow Master." Sure he may not be as "strong" as Nagash. However if he is scheming and pulling strings behind the scenes he could pose an ultimately larger threat. Was he the winged beast that freed Ven Brecht? I first through it was a Vampire but maybe Be'lakor? I suppose we will know very soon if it has something to do with Be'lakor since preorder is happening Saturday.
  9. As it relates to existing LoN units, here are my thoughts: Things we are certain to be in Gravelords: -Skeleton Warriors -Zombies -Vampire Lord on Foot -Blood Knights -Wight King -Fell Bats Things I am very confident will be in Gravelords: -Dire Wolves (they're on the Battletome cover art) -Vampire Lord on Zombie Dragon (it is on the Battletome cover art) -Bat Swarm (they might be on the Battletome cover art or those are just Fell Bats) -Mannfred & Neferata, they are Mortarch Vampires, so no way they are not in Gravelords, hopefully with reworked warscrolls -Vargheists, I cannot see them not being in Gravelords, especially since they share a kit with FeC Crypt Flayers -Coven Throne & Bloodseeker Palaquin, both are nice models featuring Vampires so I cannot see them removing these -Black Knights, I mean the new Wight King on horse needs some Calvary to escort him, right? -Necromancer, pretty sure we will have a Necromancer in some sort or fashion. We got one in Cursed City too. -Corpse Cart, makes sense to have it support the cool new Zombie models. -Nagash, I expect him to be able to be in any Death army. However with what happened in BR: Teclis I could see the Soulblight trying to break off from Nagash, so it really depends how GW takes the narrative. However my money is still on Nagash being able to be taken in Gravelords. Things I am uncertain about being in Gravelords: -Grave Guard, I imagine GW wants to better differentiate Skeleton Warriors and Zombies AND the new Skeleton Warriors kind of look like Grave Guard, so I can see Grave Guard not making into Gravelords new book. -Morghast, pretty sure these are going to be OBR exclusive -Arkhan the Black, again I'm pretty sure he stays exclusive to OBR. -Any of the Nighthaunt models that are in LoN Battletome right now I suspect will be moved to be NH exclusive. But I think we will still be able to ally with NH.
  10. I am still thinking sometime in May, I know there are some individuals that are saying since Be'lakor is next weekend and no new Gravelords info, that means Gravelords is after 3.0 this summer. However, it is still very possible that on this upcoming Sunday they announce that Saturday April 24 is the next big online preview. After all the previous big previews were Jan 23, Feb 20 & March 20. If that was the case, then they could preview the rest of the Gravelords line and then announce preorder for May 1. All speculation though.
  11. So interesting thing I noticed in the WH AoS app. If you select Death Grand Alliance and then LoN Faction, the Zombie and Skeleton Warrior icon has been updated and is the new Zombie and Skeleton from Cursed City. Also if you select "Soulblight" under the Death Grand Alliance it has the other Cursed City stuff.
  12. I suspect they are just waiting until Gravelords comes out because the Crimson Court was likely written with that book in mind whereas the Cursed City more than likely was supposed to be out last year but COVID pushed it back.
  13. 100% agree, I just hate waiting. It's 2021 I demand instantaneous gratification 😂
  14. No warscrolls for the Crimson Court. Very interesting.. Wonder if this means they are waiting for Gravelords release? https://www.games-workshop.com/en-NZ/WHU-The-Crimson-Court-EN-2021
  15. hmmm no warscrolls for the Crimson Court.. https://www.games-workshop.com/en-NZ/WHU-The-Crimson-Court-EN-2021
  16. I would say set your expectation pretty low for their warscrolls. HOWEVER they are still badass models that, at a minimum will make really great Vampire Lord proxies
  17. A couple of the Underworlds warbands are actually useful but that is the exception to the rule when it comes to using them in AoS. The lore article released earlier this week seems to indicate that Prince Duvalle has control over the other three: "It takes a powerful, commanding presence to keep one vampire under your influence, let alone three. Luckily Prince Duvalle is an expert at manipulating his fellow hunters." So based on this I wouldn't think that they are four independent Vampire Lords, it also specifically says that Vellas von Faine does not wield magic and kind of indicates that Ennias Curse-born might not either. So it is possible that Prince Duvalle is the only true Vampire Lord and the other three are lesser Vampires, similar to Blood Knights on foot. I do not know that we can take this as indication of anything to come, but I would love foot Vampire units! Now for the actual warscrolls, lets take a look at Cursed City, the keywords and a lot of the stats are basically just LoN carry overs, this is likely because Cursed City was supposed to come out sometime last year, well before Gravelords. However the Crimson Court is very interesting to me, because these guys (and gal) were obviously planned for the new season of Underworlds which was presumably not planned to come out as early as Cursed City. So it is possible that the warscrolls for the Crimson Court were written based off of Garvelords. HOWEVER, that also assumes Gravelords data was written prior to the Crimson Court. So in summary, COVID has messed things up so bad BUT we should be able to see the warscrolls later today when they go up for preorder in New Zealand
  18. I think they likely stay the same (model wise). However, as someone pointed out earlier, GW could feasibly change things up since Arkhan's body was destroyed. GW could have him remade into a more OBR style and then both Mannfred & Neferata could have their own unique model / mount. I could see this actually being a thing since currently the three are so similar looking (mount wise). However the main thing that keeps me from thinking this will actually happen is that these models really aren't that old.
  19. I'm 50/50 of whether or not we actually get AoS 3.0 this summer. I was originally leaning towards no 3.0 this year but that changed a bit within the last few weeks. It appears GW is speeding releases up. BR: Teclis is out (I was thinking end of April before it would come out) and we have strong hints at BR: Be'lakor end of this month or start of May. We already know the fourth book (BR: Kragos), I don't know how many Broken Realms books there are going to be but it is very possible that they are all released by end of June, allowing for a July 3.0 release. You're right about the monthly "big" previews, we had one Jan 23, Feb 20 & March 20, so I suspect we will have another big one in the next couple of weeks which will likely contain BR: Be'lakor information.
  20. It wouldn't shock me. Hopefully Gravelords not far behind!
  21. Probably, since this months collectable coin is to "honour Be'lakor's Return" https://www.warhammer-community.com/2021/03/31/honour-belakors-return-with-this-collectible-coin-from-your-warhammer-store/
  22. I just realized that on the AoS app if you go into Grand Alliance Death they added the "Soulblight" as a faction, which currently only has the Cursed City models (minus Skeletons and Zombies). So that says to me that the Skeletons and Zombies are actually going to get an updated warscroll.
