  1. How much does the data change if you remove SDG, Knight-Draconis, and Fulminators from it? I appreciate the data collection but can't help feel like it's skewed because of WAAC listing. (If Stormkeeps are useless for SDG/Fulm, then does that really mean Stormkeep is bad, etc etc.)
  2. I would never recover if they made little plastic capybara companions, don't tempt me 😩
  3. Anyone else not seeing this article on warcom? I was wondering why nothing was up yet fluff wise this is better than the last two at least: “If the ancient legends are true, then deep beneath the ocean bed can be found the resting place of Harrowdeep’s creators – shadow daemons from the liar’s moon of the Orb Duplicita, sworn enemies of the physical world. The mercurial passageways of this new maze convulse and shift as if moved by an unseen hand. Shadowy entities stalk these halls, gnawing on the fear of those that walk beside you. What is their intent, and what part do you play in their plans? How do you fit into these writhing schemes? More will be revealed tomorrow."
  4. Oh hey the Shadowstalker has the same weird knee armor opening as the last RE! And the new RE rock looks like an elf head, on top of the elfy boots. I think that confirms Umbraneth pretty nicely.
  5. Are they trolling us? This being nothing but a breadcrumb teaser feels like a troll......
  6. Khornegors might be right on the money! I just read the spruesandbrews Thondia lore review. I'll spoil it if people prefer to read the book themselves, there is a BOMBSHELL about why the name is "Era of the Beast" though 👀
  7. Oh that is interesting... out of that entire list, Khorne seems least likely because the design feels limiting. If this is true it'll be intriguing to see where the team went with Khorne.
  8. Umbraneth vs Skaven would make much more sense than vs Witch Hunters IMHO. I don't think we know for sure that Malerion dislikes Sigmar enough to fight. A Witch Hunter warband makes more sense as a foil to the new zombies shown off, or even Skaven as well. Going off the idea that the new set is Skaven vs Umbraneth, I could see the 4th warband release being a third for Gloomspite.
  9. Last minute edits maybe? I agree it always feels terrible. At least use a related Rumour Engine if you're going to announce an announcement... --- Does the artwork mean anything to people who've read through Harrowdeep? Like does its narrative booklet provide any hints?
  10. YOU CAN ADD THE CRAB TO YOUR IDONETH HEROES 😍
  11. Path to Glory getting some love is good to see, even if it's a weak news month https://www.warhammer-community.com/2022/04/07/wars-a-racket-in-thondia-reap-the-benefits-of-outposts-with-this-new-path-to-glory-battlepack/ "Season of War: Thondia also contains new rules for all styles of play – including an additional Path to Glory battlepack for your narrative campaigns. By claiming victory in one of six new narrative battleplans,* your army can establish an outpost in the endlessly contested wilds of Thondia. From here, you can press deeper into the primeval wilderness, and start the process of growing a huge new settlement." "There are a plethora of discoveries only found in the untamed lands of Thondia – even unique quests for binding a Krondspine Incarnate, or tracking down a HERO hailing from Ghur. Yes, you can go on a quest to recruit a custom character of your own design, forged on the divine heat of the Anvil of Apotheosis: Ghur. You can create anything from a leader for your force to recruit early and use throughout the campaign, to an enormous monster to put a final cap on your force. We’ll be covering how the Anvil works later this week – stay tuned!"
  12. No and the picture you posted is why. There's been nothing after it.
  13. I got the same feeling as well. Part of me still wants to say Silent People. BUT! If I may tinfoil hat one more time: This new dude reminds me of Gollum. Gollum was tortured at Barad Dur. Barad Dur is a giant tower in Mordor. Mordor was a huge inspiration for another hellish landscape, which has another tower inspired by Barad Dur. That's right. Chaos Dwarves confirmed.
  14. I don't think we should be glossing this over... AOS was introduced with the promise of warscrolls being free to access for anyone who wanted to look. It'd be ridiculously anti-consumer and bad faith of GW to suddenly scrap this idea when AOS 3.0 has introduced a lot of new people to the game. Regardless if it's a bug or intended after the "beta" ends, this makes me really uneasy.
  15. I knew I recognized the name, the Votan was already used in the Defiance show for the aliens who came to earth https://aliens.fandom.com/wiki/Votan As for actual inspiration, the only real life example I could find is a Mayan god which... does not seem likely for space dwarves. https://mayansandtikal.com/mayan-mythology/votan/
  16. Because it's nigh impossible for any non-Chaos humanoids to exist without being indentured to, or wiped out by, the Imperium. Such is the corner that 40k has been painted into. This is very true, I do think the video is a real announcement. Just that this precedent has been set before. I'll throw my lot in with the people saying Kill Team; it makes perfect sense.
  17. It WOULD be... but I have seen it before. Guild Wars 1 had an entire class mocked up for April Fools https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KR2Esy83MQ0
  18. Well, it sucks having confirmation that they can indeed turn off access to warscrolls you don't own. Hopefully it remains a bug...
  19. Does this count as a rumor? I was just looking at warscrolls 2 nights ago, I guess I didn't get the update yet? https://war-of-sigmar.herokuapp.com/bloggings/6101 "So the AOS app has been updated. Warscrolls' presentation has been improved a little so each weapon is on one line. In the Battle forge section (army builder) each army list has a nice image. On the sad side warscrolls from new battle tomes are behind a paywall like 40k..."
  20. Besides one weird grammatical error in the middle this article is exactly how official ones should be written... I'm honestly disappointed this is up before warcom was allowed to say anything.
  21. How long have they been out for? I'd give them like 2-3 weeks to have everything updated.
  22. This is exactly my thoughts as well, and I'm glad the people who voted thought so too! Really feels like the Essence of Warhammer; like a model that you'd show anyone who didn't know what miniature games were.
  23. Not a rumor but AOS won the Golden Daemon!!! Gavin Garza won with a 'simple' model! Hopefully heralding a new skink spear unit
