Yeah, though I think the redesign and resculpting in modern vibes may take a bit longer, I bet even by now they have already put some efforts into reintroducing “classic” factions If choose only between the two new ones, I think atm Kislev is a miss for me. I personally think the design vibe is too realistic, lacking that intriguing combination of mythical and realistic elements in the broader scenes of WFB. The focus on bear is fine, but the way how they resolve it lacks of creativity, they can do something more like the elemental bear, snow leopard or streltsy (which is my favorite), or even dive into the Eastern European folklore and deconstruct it. Cathay is the one yet to be seen, and I am interested to see the warhammer take of Far East cultures. Giant flying snakes and terracota army would be fine, but if it’s just that copy paste over a thousand of times, it’s gonna be too mythical and lame, on the other hand, limited on monks and kungfu fighters are also boring to me. Something akin to Sekiro* would be my taste. Broadly speaking? It’s time for the first priest king and lord of Khemri to show people what imperishable means once again and I am ready to put Nagash‘s skull under the wheel of his chariot😜

The overall art design of Cathay and Kislev are all done and good enough to make a video game though. It’s just the production process taking time

They really aren't Although the model support of FS did poorly (actually no？they got a terrain piece and endless spells, that's pretty in line with most factions.) , they are always considered as one of the symbol factions of AOS and constantly show up here and there. Which means there is always a further plan reserved for them and there is yet to be a chance to give FS a more or less boon of model, I believer such chance will come sooner than later. However, Original Chorf is a different story. The fact that it is a holdover army and never got real attention in the main aos line suggests what people saw as a "new AOS model for chorf" might be the last bit of the plan behind them. After that the developmental plan of chorf either got cancelled completely or got altered and redesigned into a new thing. My bet is the later and Chorf will get support much like how high elves get from lumineth.

Fyreslayers, like any other post-aos products, are pretty safe though People discuss it usually based on “how” it will be supported instead of “if” it will be supported. The original chorf is a different scene.

The fundamental difference is chorf was never meant to be an aos army like the other ones you mentioned though. The model they released after the launch of aos was simply the holdover from WFB which got designed and produced and can not be changed into other models in time.

After reading the lore in the amberstone watch booklet, I actually believe gitsnatcherz is a culture division of the army much like names such as deffspikaz, while their subfactions have names in the style of “weeping fang” Could be wrong though.

Mortal realms sometimes are bizarre, I always keep that in mind.
