I disagree, but the text and implementation is unclear.

GW stated that for 40k, old stuff will get moved to Legends, and advises TO's not to allow them, and that AoS would get the same treatment.

But for AoS legends, none of the victims of last July are included yet. Nor are they in this GHB (if the pictures are correct). Also, for Freeguild, keywords have changed, which means there are probably things that won't work anymore (like Free Peoples' alliance abilities from GHB 2019).

It's probable you can still use allegiance abilities for stuff where the keywords were not messed up, but you're putting yourself on the clock for whenever they are included in Legends.

Bretonnia, tomb kings, old aelves and dwarfs (free people), Forgeworld stuff(fimirs, dragons,...), greenskinz, gitmob, the Nighthaunt special edition and a few more things are in a Legends section in this booklet.

What happened to the Hag that she cant use artifacts now? O_o

The GHB20 remove all the realms artifacts and each realm only have one very generic and not very powerful artifact now.

The only two artifacts that are useful for her are the Chamon (ignore rend -1) and the Ghyran (heal one wound) artifacts.

  3. The Hag has one of the most powerful spells in the Gloomspite Gitz army. If you have played the Gobbapalooza, you know that powerful is the Fungoid Cloud spell is, well, the Hag Curse is an improved version of that spell with a better range.

If the Hag Troggoth was a plastic model, she will be a 320pts and one of the characters in our army.

With some Siege rules being placed in Wrath of the Everchosen I thinn you're correct about 3.0 being Siege Central. Gordrraks Waaagh would be the perfect place to start especially if it's against Excelsis (I think Azyr will come later) and the addition of the Mega Gargants at this point is too well timed. Hell one of my lads is called the Gatebreaker for a reason!!

Mate if they do Skaven VS Orruks or Beasts of Chaos as the new starter or a Battlebox in general that would be incredible. I'd love to see updated sculpts of Gors and Rat Ogors. Hell update just about every Skaven mini while your at it.

Azyr must come soon... Only because we have one Warscroll in Cities of Sigmar that needs to be played in Azyr to be really powerful. *wink wink*

Yeah... that's definitely a smaller, less potent set 😅 😪

It's possible that an upcoming GG FAQ could change the wording of the Troggoth artefacts to remove Dankhold keyword. Or, more likely, the Hag warscroll is updated to include Dankhold keyword.

But assuming it doesn't - Is the Hag worth taking now?

(I have a vested interest here - it's my birthday soon, and with Behemat not coming anytime soon, was considering getting myself the Hag)

The problem with the FW models is that they didn't get any point reduction again... and we don't know if this is because GW is thinking to remove them from the store as it happened with most of the Skaven models.

Is that confirmed? I know the realm artefacts are being dropped, but I thought they were being replaced with a smaller, less potent set?

    One for each realm.

    Reroll 1 to hit

    Reroll 1 to wound

    Reroll 1 to save

    Ignore -1 rend

    Reroll charge

Each 6 to hit add one more hit

Heal 1 wound each hero phase

AOS 3.0 will probably have SCE and whatever army they're facing off in the Boxed Set have the first new tomes. I'd love it to be Orruk Warclans but their tome is quite new compared to others so it could also end up being Nurgle, though I'd rather they stay away from the standard Good Guy vs Chaos boxed set.

AoS 2.0 was the Endless Spells edition, thanks to the Necroquake and all the stuff.

I think AoS 3.0 will be the Siege edition. All the lore is preparing for big weaponry with the siege of Gordrakk, the war in Eightpoints, the mobilization of the Aelves armies...

@Dankbossthis is my new experiment for my first tournament in two weeks with the new GHB20. One of the few things we can do now it's the possibility of the Skragrott + Dankhold + Cauldron

  9. @Dingding123  if you're planning to play GHB20, you need battlelines and leaders.

The Gobbapalooza is a unit that only works in Moonclan armies with blobs of stabbas.

    Be careful with the sinergies.

@webert1 your list is fine for 1k games. GSG is possible the hardest army to be an expert in AoS. It's very hard to win with them.

I love play with them. They're one of the best board control army in AoS, but you need to have the initiative, make traps and decide when and where the opponent is going to fight.

I've seen the GHB page now on 4chan, here are the changes:

    Mourngul 270 (-10)

    Rogue Idol 420 (+20)

    Warpgnaw VVerminlord 270 (+10)

Exalted Greater Daemon of Khorne 520 (-20)

Exalted Greater Daemon of Nurgle 390 (-10)

    Skaarac the Bloodborne 410 (-10)

Soulfeaster, Keeper of Secrets 370 (+10)

Every point leak is more transparent that if your army is not a posterboy or a compatible army with 40k, your points readjustment are awful or silly.

Somebody could explain my why the Gloomspite FW miniatures didn't need a readjustment and the Exalted Daemons need it?

How do they reconcile these changes with the table performance? So sick of there being a casual "fun book" team and a "power book" team.

It's impossible, and the thing that makes me very angry is they didn't change any points for the FW units buuuut... all the FW greater demons get changes. Why the difference of treatment with the 40k-AoS armies and the others? Khorne, Nurgle, Tzeentch or Slaanesh (with the point increase) are more active than Gloosmpite or other lesser armies...

The problem that I have it is not that our army has worse Faction rules, the problem is the treatment with other armies that have one thing in common, they're 40k compatible... Why bonegrinder, hag, colossal or gobba are fine, and the 3 exalted, the verminlord and the khorne characters needs a point reduction?.
