  1. Morathi was Slaanesh’s High Priestess hiding among the Elves with her Pleasure cults for years before they started retconning her evilness away to being slightly mad and grieving woman who worshiped Atharti (basically the elven goddess not-Slaanesh instead.)
  2. It was confirmed by GW that the lords are not in the books so unless there is some odd reason to not put a Slaanesh unit in the book they are gone.
  3. I think that’s partly because you guys did blow up Morrsleibb so they might not have forgotten about that.
  4. The balldropping is basically that for a first time Chaos God release there is significant less fanfare compared to the other three. We don’t even get like a “Slaanesh’s demons invade Ulgu!!!11!1!1 Daughters vs Slaanesh. Hints of Malarion elves incoming...” just alittle recognition that thris is supposed to be one of the biggest threats to the mortal realms.
  5. Alright. Though the big thing here is that for the food things. Which are good, I almost feel like Slaanesh was made for my playstyle almost perfectly I love the shenanigans that can be put together with what we’ve seen. Its that compared to every other Chaos God Who had major releases their first battletome into AoS. Khorne launches the game with Stormcast and gets a ton of new units to play with to he point they have the problem Stormcast should be, so many good heroes and units and not enough space to play them all. Tzeentch comes out and everyone talks about the dread skyfires. He also gets a lot of new heroes and units. More focus was on 40k with Magus the Red making his comeback into real space but Tzeentch has a really good showing in AoS too. Nurgle had Bilepiper, Horticultus, all the new bugs and first good summon mechanics of Sigmar 1.0. A lot of new units and heroes. Also was a big event about Nurgle invading Hyish for AoS and Deathguard making a return in 40k. Slaanesh.... five heroes, endless spells and terrain. Oh and we cut out the only mortals in the actual faction. And there isn’t anything big happening either, Nagash is the Gaarosh Hellscream for 2.0 and we don’t want to detract from that right now.
  6. Not really. Average he is taking at least 4 mortal wounds. 5 is quite likely and he has no save after save without another unit close by. Might have to combo another spell to finish him off. Hit he is nearly dead with no heal. though on the other side of things that is four to five depravity points you aren’t getting so probably better to hit chaff with it.
  7. A pretty good point. I would say the only certainty at tre moment we. Have regarding armies is anything that has a battletome after Moggotkin of Nurgle since that is heralded as the first 2.0 books
  8. That’s only if it is a Hag Naar Queen. And in range of the generals buff. It’s a 6+ after save otherwise so it’d be 3-4 wounds on average 3.57 if we want accuracy. And then will probably kill the same amount of witches as well. 6+ save will take average 5 out of six dice and they might save .86 of those, 1.78 if they are Hag Naar and possibly another .66 save with the reroll save prayer. So 3-5 dead witches and a nearly dead Hag Queen in the Hero phase.
  9. Backfield heroes like Hag Queens will get absolutely wrecked with that spell. They only have a 5+ save and you go with the unmodified characteristic. Even with a 5+ save after save they are probably dead or almost. most aelves and Khorne priests are just dead getting hit with those wheels.
  10. Got to say I do like the mirror. Movement control, and a chance to wreck enemy heroes with a mortal force multiplier for a 6+ cast isn’t too shabby. Especially when you can drop and move it 24” for a across table turn one mess up you opponent opening moves if they can’t dispell it.
  11. Yeah I would make it -2 for entire duration so hints like nighthaunt and Daughters mindrazor would go off. Though another way would be slay a model or suffer a mortal wound instead for failing.
  12. Here’s an interesting idea. Mortal unit that rerolls all hit rolls but if they roll any 1s on the reroll they suffer-2 leadership as they freak out over failing to be perfect.
  13. Yes I’m not saying that snu-snu is the only draw though I am curious how big it is in WoG from the developers. (As a fervent enough worshiper of Slaanesh in my tendency to excessively collect things...) It would be nice to have had at least one or two units and a mortal hero or wizard that is actually the in the faction. Marked units kind of barely work, it’s just slightly better than allying in units.
  14. Lorewise Slaanesh should probably be on par with Khorne or even exceed mortal converts to his side just for what he represents. Though I guess it could be argued that they are too busy with excessive pleasure of the flesh to go out and be a presence in war. Not enough tempted by excess of murder and violence so his demons still do the brunt of the work... And the rules make for a good counter of ASF builds and armies. Like a control deck in Magic the Gathering, he’s got some really good things to work with and playdown the attrition on beat down armies that have poor sustain. Which also fits lorewise since even he other three gods are scared of him because he can feed of them if they go too much into their own powers excessively.
  15. No actually. That’s another 5 for Tzeentch. I was strictly going of units with the MORTAL tag.
  16. Yeah but are those models that can be taken as Hedonites or are they allied models like chaos warriors and knights? If not it’s like taking away skinks, saurus warriors and dactyls from seraphon and saying well you have judicators, and Sequitors to play with. whats weirder is they even mention mortal wizards in the previews. Which I guess points to taking StD as actual Slaanesh units... But here is breakdown of actual mortal units exclusive to a Chaos God: Khorne: 20 Nurgle: 13 Tzeentch: 8 Slaanesh: 3 (two of them squatted when the book comes out) so 1 Hellstriders (go figure that one...)
  17. Wishing but not really holding breath for anything else Slaanesh wise now. The stuff is great but for a Lord Of Chaos this is really mediocre to almost insulting to Slaanesh fans. Khorne, and nurgle had multiple new boxes and units and Tzeentch was tzangors and other models.Unless this is just o tide over for when the big guy/gal escapes then I’d be slightly more ok with it. Im talking for a first time AoS release not just a 2.0.
  18. Very careful very very carefully. Or Loony Toons logic... who knows what kind of biology or physics are in the chaos realms. edit:for more humor/family friendly content just in case H is a bad word. edit edit: though thinking about it maybe it’s liek the Assari from Mass Effect... hmmm
  19. @Kitsumy Is that a troll? We don’t know how big a release S/he’s getting all we have is a few models, with glimpse of scenery with promise of more and the cover of the battletome. Though I don’t think we’ll see Emperor’s Children until later. I want Fulgrim too darnnit!
  20. *squeals like a fangirl* cough cough... I mean... *Manly grunts in excitement*
  21. Though with how similar that looks that could be pointing more confirmation to the idea that there is more Slaanesh models to be revealed
  22. Afaik they have never put the faq or designer commentary on the app. They do update the warscrolls and I guess the battletomes on the app (but I only use the free parts none of the purchasable things) edit: my mistake I have never looked at the library before either. Though I only see updates to this from January of 2018 so I would say no they stopped doing that.
  23. Oh right I forgot Underworlds is a thing. 🤗 Haven’t played it since season one so I kind of overlook it outside of the models.
  24. They said Warcry is aimed for the summer, so I don’t think we’ll see anything aside from more teasers and previews over the next couple of months. I’m hoping Slaanesh too. That was confirmed as the next battletome to be coming out after Fyreslayers. *smeagol voice* It is our birthday present.....
  25. True enough. Heck all of Nighthaunt’s troops and who they used to be is an example of how many different ways he goes about seeking his brand of justice against “sinners” to the God of Death and his domain. Yeah, no telling who’s male or female in Seraphon, I think there is even mention of a female Slaan somewhere. The priest and the engines bring hem into reality and then those that Irvine the battle remain wherever they landed, unless the Seraphon come pick up the remainder and truck them back to their star empire. As for female dwarves, they do exist but they are a slight rarity, only 1-2 out of 10 births among Duardin (least according to the Old world) so they are often considered too valuable to be sent to battle and more often are the ones behind the scenes running the logistics side of things or being the domestic rulers of the household. I don’t know if Stormcast would be able or if Sigmar would let them if they could, after all they are dead heroes and virtuous people that Sigmar deemed worthy enough to be given the gift of reforging into his elite protectors. A good few of them probably had children in life before this, though possibly a good number didn’t having died too young or unwed.
