  1. Just curious what's your favourite mixed chaos list atm?
  2. Hopefully warherds and brayherds will be merged together, along with our old monsters of Chaos!
  3. I'm not sure about bringing a solo Doombull; I feel like he's not that killy or durable on his own for his 120 points. He's when accompanied by other Warherd he's great, but I think it would be a waste of a CP to boost a solo Doombull. I'd probably be better served by taking another 10 bestigors for the same points. The Bestigors bring 10 wounds vs. 8, 4+ vs. 5+ armour save, 20 attacks vs. 3--5 attacks (though he can get up to 10 with Bloodgreed if I get really lucky). I feel like the Jabberslythe as an ally brings something new to the table compared to the Doombull or more Bestigors, like mortal wounds, ranged attack, nerfing aura etc. List building rules are just the standard for 1250 points (so 2 battleline), and the tournament organizers just announced today that all of the Malign Sorcery stuff is in (realms of battle, etc.)
  4. Thanks! Endless spells are most likely in, but not sure about Realm Spells yet. The organizers haven't decided about those yet. From the Endless spells, Chronomantic Cogs seem like a great choice for extra speed, but I've got no clue about Realm Spells or artefacts. Any suggestions? Also, do you think Bullgors make better allies than a Jabberslythe? Jabbers seemed to come highly recommended in a lot of lists I've seen from previous years.
  5. Wow their minotaurs are amazing! Do you happen to have a side-by-side shot with these guys and the GW Bullgors/Doombull? Just curious how their sizes compare.
  6. I signed up for a 1250 point tournament in a couple months. Any suggestions for a 1250 point Brayherds and/or Warherds list that will be as competitive as possible in AoS 2.0? I've only played Hinterlands so far while I build up my army.
  7. Such a cool minotaur/Doombull! What model is it?
  8. I'm new to Skaven (and AoS in general), so this may be a stupid question, but how do you get the Packmaster's abilities to apply to Stormfiends? It looks like Stormfiends are listed as Skryre units, but the Packmaster's nice abilities only apply to Moulder units.
  9. Any ideas for beating Sigmarines? Like 70% if the people I play are using them, and I find it annoying that they have no obvious weaknesses. All of their units seem ridiculously good, and Beastmen lack the mortal wounds to get through their crazy high armour saves.
  10. I'm tempted to field a full unit of 30 Bestigors with the new points reduction, but I'm worried that they'll just be too unwieldy to use in such a big blob, since most of them won't be able to attack due to their larger bases. And on top of that they don't have any additional bonuses like Gors and Ungors do for larger unit sizes. Is it worth fielding a big 30 Bestigor blob, or would you suck up the points increase and deploy them in smaller units of 10 or 20?
  11. I'm planning to try using 2-3 Tuskgor chariots for ambushing in the second wave to take out some squishy units that the opponent has left exposed.
  12. What sort of Brayherds/Warherds lists do you guys use in Skirmish/Hinterlands? My local wargaming club plays Hinterlands but with 2.0 rules (no summoning still). I've had the most success so far with a starting 144 gold warband of: Dual-wielding Doombull general (+1 to Wound trait), Ungor Raiders x3, Bestigors x5. Then I spend whatever I make from the first match on more Raiders, or to replace any dead Bestigors. Unfortunately the Doombull (since being a hero he gets half his usual wounds in Hinterlands) is pretty squishy, so I've been thinking of making a Tuskgor chariot my general, since it would have a better save, start with 6 wounds (since it's not a Hero) and would have more speed for capturing objectives. Any thoughts or suggestions?
