Last time they where there it was mostly secondary games like Necromunda and Blackstone fortress if I remember correctly at least from most Expo is generally GW reveal small stuff but not really have a preview event in them.

The Horus heresy event is at Warhammer world but there hasn’t been a clear indication that it would replace Warhammer fest. at least I would assume they would need to have a general preview event between now and NOVA in order to show off their Summer releases especially since they have to reveal the rest of CSM release and the two AoS tome eventually before the 3rd quarter starts

My experience is that running a bunch of bodies and holding back and playing the objective for VP is harder now with battle tactics and forcing you to be more active and carrying more reliable firepower.

I mean it more of a question mark if they every get broken out of CoS or if they are just forever part of them. All three armies have a home currently and I don’t see them needing to merge anything just for playability reason. Grugni just show up to just make the new SCE armor but there alway weird allegiance ability like Legion of the first prince that can be release to do limited army mixing build.

I believe they said in the Adepticon panel that they would be available liable separately at a later day

Well Whitefang reacted to it either being a new faction or a new Gargant kit, but both are pretty exciting to say the least But move over Gatebreaker, Crittertamer is the new Gargant in town

I believe Ogors are cursed to become Gorgers and they are not born as one and are not a subspecies either then again I think it just low effort lore put in to just to justify it existing in the setting

I remember a lore excerpt in the Sons battletome about a sleeping mega gargant who sort of befriends these mysterious creepy crawlers in a cave where he was sleeping in.

Beside the rumor here. there was a leak that GW accidentally email store about revbixing existing Sylvanesth stuff in July Process of elimination (assuming it not a new army) of remaining Order armies that have not gotten a White dwarf tome are either Sylvaneath or LRL at this point. We just assume that LRL is much later on in the update cycle despite community pushing the joke around.

i think Sylvaneath are more likely to get stuff since they like Nighthaunt got a new model during Broken realm and i don't think they were made in isolation while Skaven got rules but nothing else in that series. i hedge that both are not going to be big releases either way, so I doubt that this is the Skaven refresh or the Kurnoth expansion that people been wanting, just given the current 40K/30K release timeline.

Yeah which was why I wasn’t to dismissive of the The honest wargamer rumor of those being it for AoS in terms of release for this year. Though I do think there is a least one more book in the fall hopefully.

Didn’t expect a full army, mostly because it just a weird time to do it with how back up they are with release. I guess this is why this year going to be light on AoS it because they had a lot of release and more new army comming out for 40k. Rumor is that both world eaters, IG, and daemons are also big releases

I like those Broken realm box if I was an existing collector of those army and needed that particular unit in mass. If I was starting out I would either prefer something like combat patrol boxes or those launch boxes when a new release came. Of course they have only release one launch box for AoS so far ( Realmlords) while 40K have release 3 plus the Knight one coming out soon

Looking at that list, Seven is pretty average showing when compare to the whole field. Disciple of tzeentch being only three is the more surprising one then behemat the most of popular armies are all armies that recently got a battletome in the last year or so except for Seraphon who are just more innately strong

Not sure how it works elsewhere but I though who every win Best overall at these GW events would get the US open invite. She thought she won best overall in Adepticon but was told later that the other person won and she wouldn’t get the invite. But since the fault was on Adepticon, GW gave her a ticket.

Squat coming back as a Killteam squad is believable and maybe the full extend of their comeback . Squat coming back as a full army feels less believable I feel compare to the more shoe in ones like World eaters and Emperor children.

Well at least the Nurgle player got her invitation back because GW step in and resolve the situation by inviting both players

since we are on the topic of Apps, here what they said about it in Adepticon and their acknowledgement of the current state (for 40K version anyway) GW was asked directly; "when will the list building app not suck?" - entire application department has been restructured under Mike Brandt. - Mike admitted and owned the fact that the application is in a bad state and talked about the plans moving forward. - goal is to not make it good enough you would want to use it but make it so good you wouldn't want to use something else. - big update planned for May that's supposed to be the first step in that plan.
