Since 2nd edition has dropped, there has been a pretty even split between armies that summon and those that don't in top 10s at tournies
Tournies dont have the problem discussed here as they are usualy 2000p.

Thanks you, guys! So the conclusion is we have a problem with summoning, not CP, but we may can take some ideas from 9ed 40k 👍

The Archregent is only once per game
You are right! So thats a little relief

I think that is a good idea for house rules, thank you!
Spoiler12 and a half ghouls for my usual 1250p games then 😆

The 9th edition of 40k is coming and one change is that you have CPs tied to game size (like 6 for 1000p game, 12 for 2000p game)
Dont know if that is a rumour or not.But I think this would be very useful for AoS too, as I feel some command abillitys are way to powerful for 1000p games.
For Example Command Abilitys like Rally the Tribes from S2D or FECs Summon Imperial Guard are not well balanced for smaller games.
The Abhorrant Archregent brings 20 ghouls to the table - no 1000 point army can handle that.So maybe only 1/2 point per round if you have a 1000p game. Not sure if that hits the nail on the head (sorry for my german English 😁)
What would you propose?

The blue metal amour and weapons of the orks are super cool. How have you done this?

Eidolon Aspect of the Sea is a caster, too. And a nice model

GW likely wants to pool as much "customers want this" data as they can get so that they can make the first things hot off the manufacture line being exactly what customers want right now.

Finish the Chaos Knights from the SC Box...
The first unit I did not enjoy painting. Partly, because I was just overhelmed by all the details, partly because of the metalics that did not work well..

@Mirbeau thanks! I did look at snakes but this picture is just perfect. There is a thin darker line between te scales though, hopefully those will be better visible in a new photo.
@KnaveOfScribes Thanks man. Instagram is a nice platform but I really enjoy these plogs, allowing for some more interaction and depth.
I made a page from a journal of a Sigmarite witch hunter, visiting the city of Thalion. I always liked the fluff pages back in the day of the 6th ed. rulebook, fleshing out the Old world in short texts and some nice sketches. I think this way I can quickly transfer some of my ideas about the background of my army. Please let me know what you think (and keep in mind I'm not a native speaker of English).
How did you know about the new ox elven in 2018?!

I buy a box, build paint and play with it. Then buy the next. Super stupid idea now that all shops are closed

I was always looking for heave infantry for my IDK army. So if they can ally with the Lumineth I would use the Alarith Stoneguard with heads from the Morrsarr Guard. Should have that praetorian vibe and look realy well.

...on Wednesday I decided to pile up all the boxes of UNBUILT models I've got here, it ended up being about my height, that didn't exactly inspire me or 'spark joy' so I went back to staring at the wall
Lists, mountains of grey plastic. No wonder, you cant motivate yourself. Take one box, one model (random, close your eyes if necessary). Build it, paint it, see if this could be the start of your next project. 😁

This and some of other issues forced my group to quit the game entirely, which is a shame in the end of the day.
If your whole group don't like this, why don't you just alter the rules so that you have fun again? 😉

Floating obelisks as scenery piece would be smart. No issue with placing them like the OBR one, they come with cord and pin and just dangle from the roof.

Is anyone really interested in this release? I heard Lumineth don't even have sharks to ride on...
