    Got a bit more done one my motley crew of blight kings, didn't have an idea of where I was going with these guys when I started. Mainly just experimenting with colours etc but liking how they are turning out. Questions, comments queries very much appriciated happy painting folks

    I was going to try running bloab rotspawned with magnificent buboes for this exact role. Planning on targeting casters specifically. Will be trying him against some storm cast next week

    I love the nurgling models. For me the most iconic in the whole GW range. Shame I don't get to use them often

    Yea I didn't want to invest more in characters than I already have? Although I could easily drop the plague drones down to 3 and get another charachter if needed. Suggestions?

    Yea of course. It was primed black. I then did a spray of white (with an airbrush) at almost 90° keeping the main light to a single edge of the base. I then painted purple from the opposite side at the same angle, trying to keep a good portion of white remaining. Next back from the the white side I hit the base up with orange. This was really thing to act as a glaze. This I covered the middle and half of the white and half of the purple. Finally I add yellow to the little bit of white remaining for a nice bright edge. Unfortunately I don't have any step by step pictures. But hope that helps. If you don't have an airbrush you can do the white with spray paint and then brush the paints on by hand. Just keep them nice and thin

    I'm definately after a tar pit unit that I can sit on objectives and hold them. I will be running the glottkin in the same list so can buff the offensive capabilities.     How good/bad are plague monks in comparison to maraurders?

    Can maggotkin still take plauemonks and maintain their allegiance abilities? I'm tied between taking a hoard of marauders or plaguemonks. The minis look so much better and nurgle, but the marauders look more effective in game. Any advice on which to take and why would be greatly appriciated

    Guys appolagies for dropping this in here. I'm looking for advice on debasing my blessed of nurgle. Since the release of AoS2 and base sizes having a prevelance with in the game I have to rebase the majority of my army. So I am looking for suggestions on a new style for the bases. Any and all suggestions will be considered. Something that is easily applicable to a whole army and will really add a wow factor! I've attatched pictures of some of the models so you can see the colours etc. Feel free to try using complementary colours or contrasting in your suggestions. Anything goes. However the winner (chosen by myself) will not only have there idea forever immortalised on my army (or untill new rules state otherwise ?) but there is a little prize as well up for grabs. Probably a blister pack, hobby supplies or brushes sorry if this kind of thing isn't allowed (feel free to drop me a message, I'm not trying to advertise anything here just reward other people's creative imagining) but if it is, thank you in advance and may the best idea win.

    So I was thinking of getting some marauders, I'm looking at getting the Tzeentch Arcanites Kairic Acolytes and nurglifying them. Do you think this would be allowed in tournaments etc?

    Well thankfully I have 6 plague drones already. So I guess I can batch paint the lot together. Only models I need to pick up are gutrot spume and then a lord of blight or harbinger of decay and I'm all good Nurglings are already painted. I have 6 bases done and a unit of 30 plague bearers plus a poxbringer. So it's only adding 5 models to my to paint list so I guess I can live with that if it opens up extra options! Thanks for the advice guys

    After ALOT of to-ing and fro-ing I think I've decided on the following list. This will be my painting goal, for the next 12 months as I don't get too much time to paint these days. With a bit of luck I will be able to finish it sooner. But 12 months for me is a realistic target ? Anything you more experienced players would recommend me changing would be greatly appreciated! Allegiance: NurgleLeadersThe Glottkin (420)- Lore of Malignance: Blades of PutrefactionPoxbringer Herald of Nurgle (120)- General- Artefact: The Witherstave - Lore of Virulence: Favoured PoxesGutrot Spume (140)Battleline30 x Plaguebearers (320)10 x Putrid Blightkings (320)5 x Putrid Blightkings (160)5 x Putrid Blightkings (160)Units3 x Plague Drones (200)3 x Nurglings (100)Total: 1940 / 2000Extra Command Points: 1Allies: 0 / 400Wounds: 167 Idea with the list is the plague bearers hold any main objective needed or tarpit enemy units (especially after being buffed by the big guy) Nurglings are to get additional contagion points or act as a road block. Gutrot and a unit of kings will flank to disrupt enemy or capture objectives and the other units of kings to attack where needed. Drones will be deployed to target characters and small units that the can easily roll over. As mentioned previously any help would be greatly appreciated can't wait to start painting and playing now!

    My GUO is the forgeworld version so I tend to play him as anything goes. Havnt had anyone complain about this in my local group. Not sure how a wider group ie tournament scene would perceive this? Another question, can gutrot spumebe given artefacts/traits if he is general? Same goes for other unique characters? I seem to remember they can't but just wanted to confirm.

    @sal4m4nd3r the final game sounded epic! Great write ups. I much rather short concise reports than the longer winded ones (unless they are very well written) Congrats on your final position. Make some on like myself starting out in AoS really enthusiastic for getting to a few tournaments:)

    Another little addition to my force. Only spent about an hour or so painting this. Don't even know if it will be used ? but at least it's done. Next up will be my blight kings or maybe the glottkin? Also a bit miffed as I realise I now have to rebase all my models to the appropriate size thanks to the new rules update ? Would love some suggestions on a new basing scheme. Something that will really stand out

    I wasn't entirely too sure myself. The scroll builder let me, but I'm sure it's far from the be all and end all when it comes to making army lists. As for my GuO is rotigus any better? His unique spell looks pretty good.

    Thanks for that Do you think my general trait; lord of war would be the best selection to have the kings bonus attacks on s 5+?
