    Help needed, I am after an all round list that I could play both competitively that will be a good "all rounder" I keep tailoring lists to match opponents (as my opponents do to me) But I would rather have a really solid list that I could play time and again with the aim of brining to a tournament at the end of the year. I have most of the models in the range with the exception of marauders and plague monks. I can't stand the marauderers (the actual models) so I won't be using them. Plague monks I could get if needed, although I would prefer to keep it an all maggotkin (models from the rulebook) list if possible. Any advice or suggestions are greatly appriciated. This is also to give me a target for my painting as well. LIST 1 Allegiance: NurgleLeadersGreat Unclean One (340)- Plaue Flail & Doomsday Bell- Artefact: Tome of a Thousand Poxes - Lore of Virulence: Favoured PoxesLord of Blights (140)- General- Trait: Hideous Visage - Artefact: Rustfang Gutrot Spume (140)Battleline30 x Plaguebearers (320)10 x Putrid Blightkings (320)5 x Putrid Blightkings (160)5 x Putrid Blightkings (160)Units3 x Plague Drones (200)BattalionsBlight Cyst (220)Total: 2000 / 2000Extra Command Points: 1Allies: 0 / 400Wounds: 155 I feel this list is pretty solid, plenty of hard hitting units and an out flank with gutrot. The Lord of blights helping to rebuff the enemy. I've avoided taking the blade on the GUO as I do d with the time I rarely feel I need to use it and as most of my opponents always charge him I'd like to make him a bit harder hitting. LIST 2 Allegiance: NurgleMortal Realm: Ghyran LIST 2 Allegiance: NurgleMortal Realm: GhyranLeadersThe Glottkin (420)- Lore of Malignance: Blades of PutrefactionLord of Plagues (140)Festus the Leechlord (140)- Lore of Malignance: Rancid VisitationsBattleline30 x Plaguebearers (320)10 x Putrid Blightkings (320)5 x Putrid Blightkings (160)5 x Putrid Blightkings (160)Units3 x Nurglings (100)BattalionsPlague Cyst (200)Endless SpellsBalewind Vortex (40)Total: 2000 / 2000Extra Command Points: 1Allies: 0 / 400Wounds: 153 This list is using festus to support the glottkin and do a 9" mortal wound mini nuke (if I can pull it off) whilst also helping heal the big guy and negating enemy units (making up for the lack of rend using this battalion) the nurgling are to either engage enemy war machine on the back line and net extra contagion points or act as a speed bump to help control the board.

    I like the first list but perhaps take festus instead of epidemus? I've never had good fortune with epidemus, personally. And festus can cast blades, and rebuff enemy armour which really helps the blight kings to shine!

    Also for a potential tournament, there is a local 800 point event being run. I think this would be a good event to get me into the swing of things and also a realistic target for having a painted army. Any suggestions for a list this size? With our units being a bit on the expensive side, I have no idea where to start with this!

    What about the carrion dirge (-2 to bravery) is that worth while taking? It could potentially mean and additional 2 enemy units lost per combat phase? Or is making the enemy reroll 6s quite effective? Sorry still really new to AoS so plenty of questions 😁

    So I've decided I'm going to attend a tournament this year. More for sh*ts and gigs than anything else. I'm very much a casual player but thought it would be good to get some games in with people outside my usual group. To that end I want a half decent list so I don't leave completely deflated and hating my hobby 🤣 SO my question is which of the Cyst battalions are a best all rounder in the competetive scene? I know the befoulment battalion is currently scene as our best battalion but 1) i don't want to buy/paint another 2 GUOs 2) I do t want to be that guy and would rather bring an all round list that both me and my opponent enjoy playing. Hence the choice of Cyst battalion. I'm leaning more towards the plague cyst as rerolling all misses within 7" of the Lord of plagues seems like it could help ALOT more than the +1 rend. What's people's thoughts on this? Also if any members on here can recommend a good 1 day event in the north east of UK that would be much appriciated as well

    How does this list seem? Was unsure of what to give the Lord so thought the extra damage on a roll of a 6+ would be useful for churning out as many wounds as possible and the rebuff to bravery, or could give the GUO the wheel shenanigans trait?     Is the battalion worth it? I keep trying to take a battalion but rather take a unit of plague drones instead.

    Ladies and gents, would like some advice, havnt played in a while and not 100% sure on my list. Mainly after advice on the item to give the Lord of blights, I don't have much experience with malign sorcery so any advice appriciated. Is the battalion worth it or should I drop for a unit of plague drones? Hoping to balewind festus' spell for the extra 6" and gets blades off as well. Could potentially drop this endless spell for an extra CP? Hulking physique is to make the GUO a bit harder hitting in combat as he always ends up in CC. I know plague bearers aren't the most efficient unit but they are what I have to hand Thanks in advance.     Can someone link me to the list of official base sizes for AoS2 please or tell me the sizes for the following: GuO (forge world model) Bloab Rotspawned Glottkin Nurglings Just wanted to be 100% sure on basesizes before I bought more. I have them mounted on mdf bases from the previous edition and wanting to rebase. Thanks

    It's called paint rack, it's available on play store etc. It is a god send for someone in my position as I can keep customer records in it if they ever want additional units for armies I paint at future dates. Also for my own personal stuff which is painted very few and far between! Highly recommended it and it's not expensive at all. My only little gripe about it is some of the widgets associated to paints differ in colour from there real life counter part. But it is only a minor issue and one I am happy to live with

    Thanks, that is a good suggestion. I am trying to get a garden of nurgle that's full of life. But guess it dosnt have to be green right? I might try source some blue and red flowers to contrast all the greens

    Pretty much calling these guys done. Have decided on the basing theme for my army! A not so nurgle garden of nurgle lol. What do you guys think? Any suggestions would be appreciated before I start mass producing bases 😊

    Thank you I want to have each group of 5 kings look differnt but if put together they still look like a coherent unit.
