I hope not, because it will make the cogs more auto include than they already are, and narrow down the diversity of "good" lists regarding of the choices we have IMHO But still, I quite share your fears, at least regarding how much this armie will be able to compete again newest BT (at least without having to run the same OP list). Our army is quite strong and fun to play IMHO, with good synergies, but will drops in points values for some units will be enough? Also, considering how Grimghast seems "despised/criticized" by people when run in LoN, I fear that their potential nerf will affect us quite deeply, while they are fine when using Nighthaunt allegiance.

Don't forget all the books following the great Gardus Steel Soul's adventures with his fellow Hallowed Knights! They are so well described that they gave me the urge to paint some Hallowed Knights minis 😛

Actually that's not true anymore. In recent GW's podcats (I guess I was the one with Robin Crudace) several groups of playtesters where mentioned, and how they interact with the rule team. By the way those podcasts (Voxcast and Stormcast) are very interesting, I recommend listening to them during your paiting / assembling session

Hi guys! I have been playing three games against a friend and his Seraphon army, and I was wondering if I was the only one struggling against them or not ? My list is the following at 1500 pts : - Lady Olinder - Guardian of souls with Nightmare Lantern - KoS on Steed - 20 chainrasps - 20 grimghasts - 6 spirit hosts - 1 mourngul We are playing using the matched play scenario and each time, his high shooting saturation leaves my with being a living target for all the game without being able to do something constructively. He runs a Slaan, an engine of gods, many skins and razordons and rypperdactyls. And with his abilities to teleport everywhere, to summon even more annoying stuff and his high saturation (shooting with razordons and melee with rypperdactyls), I don't see many options in each game to perform properly. Usually I use the chainrasps as tarpit to hold an objective supported by the guardian, the spirits are Olynder's bubble and the grimghasts either alpha strike with KoS and mourngul or act as objective holders at first turn and then go to charge what's in front of them. Regarding Spiel, I didn't see any official statement about the fact that GW will show some new shiny stuff. Is it an actual fact or just some educated guesses?

Yup and it's been in this state for quite some time now, your feeling is shared mate I guess that really old BT (pre sylvaneth IMHO) deserve and update too since they are clearly designed with the old pattern. But the beastmen release gave me hope for factions without a BT yet, AoS V2 is still young, I hope that the future is bright for "old" factions.

I totaly understand your opinion and I would have thought as you do normally. But this rumourmonger has been always spot on for a year now, so I tend to trust him. I guess we'll see if it was true in about a month and a half

We got a more concrete date for Fyreslayers release during yesterday night live from french rumourmonger FrenchWargameStudio : november. Again, no more information regarding the type of the release and if it will be accompagnied by new toys!
