1500 pts Destraction opinin needed

Ok so I am more of a collector then gamer but to have a prtext to collect I need to play once in a while. at the end of the month I am going for a tournoment 1500pts. I wish to go with my destruction, and have two options

1. Pure Iron jawz

10 brutes, 3 goregruntas 10 ardboys warchanter and Gordar fist of gork 

here I can mix ad 10 more ardboys for gruntas or 5 brutes

Or

I can do a mix destraction force

10 orruk

2x3 ogors (need to buy them first)

10 brutes

3 gore gruntas

20 ardboys

warchanter

megaboss on foot

I can also add a ork boss or chariot or a Giant

 

What do you think?

Gordrakk is not worth his points currently, 700 is just too many for him!

You would be better off running him as a normal megaboss on mawcrusha.

Vanilla Orruks are a bit naff, would never take them and expect them to do anything other than chip a few wounds of something, then die horribly.

Until we get a battletome for Greenskinz or "Orruks", they are more or less completely unplayable. too costly for doing very very little.

As others have said, Gordrakk is too expensive. Especially, as is the case here, when you don't even have a Battalion in your force to maximize his command ability!

If you absolutely want the Maw-Krusha at 1500, I'd go with :

• WB on Maw-Krusha (Choppa+RipTooth)
• Warchanter
• Weirdnob or additional Warchanter
• Ironfist
  • 4 units of ArdBoyz, Brutes and/or GoreGruntaz, mized as you like (I'd go Brute, Brute, GG, ArdBoyz)
  • or
  • 3 units, with one that is double-sized (again, I'd take 10 Brutes).

1500 on the nose. Unfortunately, you don't have a Weirdnob, so I'd try to either get one (or a second 'chanter if you prefer).

If you insist, take Gordrakk and remove the 4th unit. That's still 1500, just results in even lower numbers...
