DynamicCalories
A friend bought me an Epidemus kit as a gift recently, and I have never dealt with fine resin before... are there any general tips or tricks I should know? I am finding it weirdly fragile but also hard to clean? I have heard that it might need soaking before spraying?
Ademo
It helps to give it a warm (but defo not hot!) soapy wash - washing up liquid does the trick and a light scrub. Other than that, the minis I've painted in finecast I've found often have loads more flash and even odd joints of flash between surfaces that can be quite thick - I always seem to miss at least one of these so double check before sprayimg and use a pic for reference as some of the bits blend in!Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
DynamicCalories
Cheers, I'll give Epidemus a bath, I'm sure he'll love that... I used blu-tack to put him together, I hope liquid greenstuff is gonna be good enough to fix the gaps as I definitely need to paint him in sub assemblies. Soulsmith
What Ademo said, I always give resin a bath and a scrub. Also helps cut down on the dust.
