I'm quite a confident painter in terms of techniques and I really love these colour schemes (see attached pictures) but I'm unsure as to what paints to use as so far I've been using painting guides?? any tips and suggestions would be appreciated Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
HobbyHammer Posted January 12, 2017 Share Posted January 12, 2017 The closest colour I can think of for the Skin is Russ Grey, (Will assume you won't be painting with an airbrush and also you'll be using GW paints). if you spray models Black, then drybrush all over with a light blue, followed by a lighter dry brush with Wrack White, you can then glaze on Russ Grey and you should achieve the blended transitions. For the Wings, I would base coat in a Dark Grey (Eshin?), then dryrbush over with Genestealer and then Etherium Blue (Where you see the very light middle parts of the wings), Glaze with Naggaroth Purple and do a recess wash with Purple wash..
