Mengel Miniatures
I Painted this guy up quick-quick as a weekend project and because I was inspired by the Spire of Dawn boxset. Probably took about 3 - 4 hours tops, maybe actually closer to 2, there were a lot of interruptions. I started him on Saturday and finished him yesterday. There was a lot of drying time because anything that's not black or metallics was primarily painted with glazes and shades. I'm really happy with how he came out. For rank and file troops I would probably leave off several of the highlight stages to make it go quicker. I'll have a tutorial up either this week or next. Soulsmith
I am really going to have to try painting in washes and glazes instead of layering. How do you rate the GW glazes?
