  5. We've all focused a ton of time and attention onto just one army or one project to the detriment of others before. While this has the potential to be very productive, it can also lead to over saturation and hobby burn out. Over the last few months I've found myself hitting a sort of hobby equilibrium, the kind of opposite to burn out.View the full article

  9. Whenever I start a new army I face a small dilemma before painting them; do I make my own color scheme or follow one of the studio color schemes? Having started many projects over the years I've fallen on both sides of the fence on this, but I sometimes feel guilty if I don't come up with my own color scheme. View the full article

  15. The Kurnothi of the Wild Hunt are such cool models and entirely unique within Age of Sigmar. As I made my way through the Underworlds Warbands I knew I had to tackle these woodland warriors early on. View the full article

  17. Almost everyone who has been in the hobby has collected Space Marines at some point, and of those people most of them will probably have created their own Chapter, even if it's just a one off miniature. When I did exactly that with my Sons of Dorn back in the mists of time there was no way I could have known the strange history they would embark upon. View the full article

  19. This is something I'm sure we've all felt at some point or another, whether we're aware of what it is or not. It's hard to avoid, especially with social media, and can eat away at you little by little if you're not careful, so what is it? View the full article

  23. We've all heard the term "Modeling for Advantage" before when people talk about conversions, and yes, I'm sure there are some people who would actually do this. Is it really worth the trade off of the stigma this term can bring though? View the full article

  25. I'm a big fan of the Contrast paint range and what you can do with them. They have so many uses, from the one thick coat application, to glazes, to using them to shade a model. This does bring up the question though of Shade paints or Contrast paints? They both cover some of the same uses, so which should you use? View the full article
