Bjarni St. Posted November 12, 2016 Share Posted November 12, 2016 Only in very niche cases such as the target having a very strong save that loses some effectiveness against attacks with Damage > 1 (only buffed Skaven Clanshield models come to mind). Well of Eternity Posted November 14, 2016 Share Posted November 14, 2016 Some units ignore rend -1 (Treelords with Gnarlroot Warrior trait, Seraphons etc.) Ithilmar Bolt are great against such units but it`s true - volley of 12 bolts is better in most cases.
