TerrorPenguin
would anyone care to share how they make their bits of cork for rocks look so rock like when basing models? I have basically every GW paint at this stage, except the one I need (happens every time), so if you could name some GW paints that would be grand. Thanks in advance you wonderful people
Fireymonkeyboy
I find a key thing is chipping the edges up, and the use of sand, or other texture, to blur the outline of the cork.
TerrorPenguin
I wasn't going to glue sand to them so that is a good tip thank you. are you painting them black and dry brushing with a light grey?
fartsocks
Here's one I did. Hopefully you think it looks rock like. All I did was glue a bit of sand on, and then paint it all black and drybrush with grey, then do the sand brown.
Barimbino
Drybrushing is what really makes it look like rock, the cork has a great texture toothbrush.
