Struggling with a Sylvaneth theme.

Just bought some Kurnoth hunters and getting a lot of units for christmas.

Been looking at doing a arctic cold theme for my sylvaneth army, and also want to create a poison secondary theme (lots of glowing leaves, routes etc)

The colours im thinking of is:

For the wood on body:

Rhinox Hide>Gorthor Brown>Baylord Brown>A white highlight of some sort to add some aged, cold texture

For the Routes underneath the wood, between shoulder pads, armpits etc:

Base: Macragge Blue
Wash: Drakenhof Nightshade
Layer 1: teclis Blue
Highlight 1: Lothern Blue
Highlight 2: Ulthuan Grey
Highlight 3: White scar

Then for the Routes leading to the leaves and the leaves themselves:

A mixture of Genestealer purple and Xeuros purple with pink/white highlights and blending in Screamer pink and pink horror with white highlights.

But, this is just an idea and im really struggling. I look at the Kurnoth hunters and struggle to see my scheme making sense. Any help or advice?

Well you could try to paint a test model and see how it goes?

There are no trees on the artic pooles as far as I know, so its hard to find a reference and even harder to make believable?

But if you look in the Sylvaneth Battletome there are examples of white trees.

If it was me I would stick to white, blue and some light green, with purple shading. No brownes.

take a look at the Beastclaw Raiders and how GW have painted them?

The beastclaw raider one was great, but it's those exact colors i use to create stone and i dont want my oak looking like the stone.

Anyone know a good white oak paint list or guide?
